As you may know, Shiner Bock beer is my favorite beer and is mentioned from time to time on BBCW. When fellow conservative Andrew Wilkow brought it up on his radio show and listed it as his favorite beer as he promotes the New York City Tea Party him and Mike Church will attend on Friday. Unfortunately, Wilkow said he can't get it in New York City, which is a problem many of us Shiner lovers face, but notes one bar in New York City performs a Smoky and the Bandit routine and bootlegs it from Shiner, Texas in a van.
With that said, Wilkow did promote Patriot Ale, which is a $6 a pitcher beer at the bar they will be engaging in the pre Tea Party festivities. He says it's good beer, but all my friends from New York claim you can't even get a pint for under $6 in New York City.
Anyway, just wanted to send this one out to Wilkow today for promoting Shiner Bock on his show in hopes that it will become the next American beer. Here's Pat Green.
