Branson Tea Party 2011 Tax Day Protest Along Highway 76

Get ready for Branson Tea Party’s third annual Tax Day Protest! Where: We will line both sides of Highway 76 (the Strip) from the Fall Creek intersection to Applebees. The central meeting point is at the entrance to Area 57 (1610 West Highway 76) next to the American Bandstand Theater across from Dixie Stampede).

When: Friday, April 15th (Tax Day) 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Why: It’s hard to believe it’s been only two years since our movement was born when hundreds of thousands of Americans stood united in the common cause of putting We the People back in charge of our Nation.

This group of ordinary Americans has accomplished so much in such a short period of time, but as our leaders from both parties continue to advance or ignore outrageous spending habits—which will lead to an economic catastrophe—it is as important as ever to turn out to show them that we will NEVER go back to sleep. How: Everyone who agrees that our government officials are out of control are invited to exercise our rights of free speech and assembly. The event is free and open to the public, all ages are welcome and this is a family friendly and non-partisan event. You are encouraged to bring your signs with messages of your concerns regarding the outrageous and questionable actions of our elected leaders. (Note: keep the messages civil, sincere, and appropriate for public viewing.)

See you there!

*** This event is brought to you by the Branson Tea Party Coalition, a non-partisan and grassroots non-profit organization, which works to advance the core values of the Tea Party Movement of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets.
