Josh Marsh Has Reason Not to Trust Billy Long Over Promise Made on KZRG

Josh Marsh asked Billy Long during the Republican primary season why he should trust Billy Long. Long answered that he was making a great sacrifice to run for office and would be forced to sell Billy Long Auctions and his 1/3 share in Murney Associates. Since that interview, Billy Long has done a lot of complaining about having to sell his auction house and his real estate company despite using it as a crutch to earn voters trust.

“You have to sell your business. If you have a fiduciary business, you have to sell that, so I’ve gotta walk away from a business I built up for 30 years. Who’s gonna buy it without me there? Answer: Nobody. Whoever I sell it to has to take my name off of it. Now, what’s it worth? Absolutely nothing.

“I own a third interest in the largest real estate company in Springfield; I have to sell that. Do you want to buy a real estate company today? You know, they’re not worth anything, and I have to give up my real estate broker’s license.”

However, Bob McCarty has been digging around and it appears that Long doesn't want to answer the question of whether he has parted with his business interests like he promised voters he would do if elected to Congress. McCarty writes for Andrew Breitbart's Big Government and his own blog Bob McCarty Writes, a Tea Party conservative blog.

McCarty contacted Long's office for answers two weeks ago, and they did not return his inquiry. He followed up today including having a conversation with Bret Funk, one of Congressman Long's handlers without any success. Long's office basically told McCarty since he didn't live in the district it was really none of his business despite McCarty's press credentials.

“Apologies Bob, we are initially focusing on our district press for media requests. Please keep us in mind in the future.”

Long doesn't appear to have a problem talking to other members of the press from outside of Long's 7th District, so why doesn't he want to answer the question about the great sacrifice? In fact, Long has been quite friendly with the Washington press corp, always ready to provide a sound bite. So why doesn't Long's office talk to McCarty?

The heat was turned up on Long after Long decided his first bill in Congress would have nothing to do with reeling in Washington spending--rather Long proposed the United States recognized National Auctioneer Day. The press eager to show the world the freak show in Congress was able to get Long to admit that he still owns Billy Long auctions, as mentioned before did little to reduce doubt about the idea that Long is playing a political game with his auction company and Murney Associates, hoping the voters will forget as he obviously may be playing ownership games on paper.

The Hill writes, "Long still owns Billy Long Auctions LLC, which auctions a variety of items. Long’s fellow freshman Duncan specialized in real estate auctions."

Still, to the average voter, they were promised Long would give up his business interest by the "Colonel" himself in order to avoid any conflict of interest that often arise when lobbyists are laying down favors and bills come up that may benefit Congressman Long's private interests.

While one question is definitely what is the status of Billy Long Auctions and Congressman Long's 1/3 share in Murney Associates, which he promised voters he would sell, another question remains, when is Josh Marsh going to act like a journalist and hold Congressman Long's feet to the fire since it was his interview that started this ball a rolling.

Meanwhile, back in Springfield, Bob Kollmeier doesn't seem too interested in putting his name on the Billy Long label. After over three months in Congress, Billy Long's Billy Long Auctions Web site and domain now are forwarded to Bob Kollmeier Auctions, but Kollmeier seems a little reluctant to discuss what the terms of the name change are on the site, which is ethos one would expect Kollmeir to if he is truly replacing the mighty Billy Long.

Monsanto's Next Frankenfood Claim: It's Healthier Because It Has Fish Oils In It

The mad scientists at Monsanto continue to mess around with what God put on earth. Facing a real ethos problem, Monsanto appears to be trying to change its image with new genetic modifications. They have now altered a soy bean to produce fish oil, the heart healthy Omega 3 oils. Have no doubt they will celebrate this as a great discovery to benefit human health to cover up the real agenda of Monsanto--and that is total power over the food supply.

From a political standpoint, Monsanto has an image problem. Therefore, they needed something that appears good to boost their image. What a better way than to produce crops that have more nutrients, but that doesn't hide the fact they have worked with the United States government to produce terminating seeds--seeds that don't yield new seeds for the following year. Now ask yourself, as Monsanto stands one FDA approval of getting another GMO passed. Why would you need to produce terminating seeds unless you goal is total control over the world's seeds? That means power because you control the food supply.

The very idea the US government and Monsanto has worked on a plan deserves some critical thought from all people, and its no wonder people in other parts of the world are concerned about the reality of Monsanto's terminating seeds.

Condoms for 11 Year Olds in Philadelphia?

The Hot Shot Condom company may have a chance to expand their lineup into smaller sizers. In case you aren't familiar with Hot Shot Condoms, they are condoms for 12 to 14 year old boys size small. Now they may need to produce a size smaller because the city of Philadelphia is now encouraging 11 year olds to wear condoms.

A new campaign by Philadelphia officials to reduce sexually transmitted diseases allows children as young as 11 to receive free condoms via mail order, outraging some parents who believe that’s too early to start getting physical.

Next they will be offering free PO boxes for these kids so the 11 year olds don't have to explain to their parents why super small condoms are showing up in their mailboxes.

Hiking Selby Knob, Horseback Knob, and Gundy Knob Near Chillicothe, OH

A waterfall at the base of Gundy Knob
Southern Ohio offers some challenging and steep hikes. With all the logging trails, you don't have to look far for one of these hikes. The town of Chillicothe is blessed with Great Seal State Park and near by Scioto Trail State Park, which offers lots of hiking. You don't have to hit the state park to find some trails with lots of deer and some interesting things to see. This is Appalachia and these are considered the foothills to the Appalachian Mountains.

Take for instance the logging trails just off 772 just past Huntington off of Windy Ridge Road. The miles of logging trails also offer three challenging and steep climbs, Selby Knob, Horseback Ridge Nob, and Gundy Knob, all offering grades of 20% or more. As well, the steams the create also produces an occasional waterfall you can find along the trail. There are access roads, which are gravel, in the area to gain access to the trails. Do be careful because you may run into the occasional ATV racing on the trails.

Gundy Knob is a steep climb recognizable by the logging efforts.

Horseback Knob is part of a long ridge between Selby and
Gundy Knobs.

In the background is Selby Knob, the steepest of the three.
This was taken from the top of Gundy Knob.
There are miles of trails in these woods. Be sure to bring your GPS just in case. This particular hike was almost three miles with a thousand feet of vertical climb. Each knob rises about 300 feet above its base.

Congressman Long Says Auctioneering is a $25 Trillion Industry in the United States

Congressman Billy Long wants to set aside a day as a federal holiday to honor auctioneers. While this may be no surprise since Billy Long is a 30-year auctioneer, his numbers need to be fact checked. Early into his speech Long says the Auctioneer industry accounts for $25 trillion in sales--TRILLION--T.R.I.L.L.I.O.N. I am thinking the solution to our national debt is to tax auctioneers! (And you know how I feel about taxes...)

Of course, this can't be factual. Where did Long come up with this number? The gross domestic product of the United States is just over $14 trillion. The gross domestic product is defined as the total value of goods produced and services provided by a country during one year, equal to the gross domestic product plus the net income from foreign investments. Long says it's 20,000 auctioneers producing this $25 trillion, and that number doesn't include the billions exchanged on E-bay.

Now Long says later in his speech, the car industry accounts for $80 billion of the total Auction industry and is the largest sector in the auctioneering industry. That's a far cry from the $25 trillion Long claims the Auctioneer industry produced.

Based on Long's $25 trillion figure with approximately 20,000 auctioneers in the United States, that means the average auctioneer is selling $10 billion of property in some form per year. Let's say they make an average 10% commission on what they auction, that means every average auctioneer in the United States is a making approximately $1 billion a year. Now think about that as you listen to Congressman Long carry on about the need for Auctioneer Day.

The Excitement of Hope and Change is Over for Joe Biden Today

Today Obama told the world everything that is wrong with the Republicans attempt to cut government spending. Meanwhile, Vice President Joe Biden caught a nap. Yes the excitement of hope and change is dead for Biden as he can't even stay away to watch Obama read the teleprompter anymore.

What do you think Biden lays away fantasizing about anyway that would cause him to lose sleep? Perhaps a last breath that would push him to the top?

Sarah Steelman Owes us an Explanation Over Special Interest and Billy Long

I hope you will consider voting for Billy Long for Congress. The way I see it is we need someone who is not part of the political establishment. We need someone who loves his country and is willing to put his country before himself; before his party; before politics as usual; before special interest groups; before lobbyists; and before his colleagues in Congress. We need someone who will put YOU before money and power and influence.--Sarah Steelman July 28, 2010

So first quarter Federal Election Commission reports have come out, and Randy Turner at the Turner Report has gone through Congressman Long's first report since joining Congress to put Steelman's words to the tests. It appears Long has opened his pockets for lots of special interest money. Turner published the following list showing Long took over $40,000 from special interest groups and lobbyists--many located outside of Missouri's Seventh Congressional District:

$1,000- Action Committee for Rural Electrification
$1,000- Allied Pilots Association
$1,000- Ameren Federal PAC
$1,000- American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
$1,000- American Airlines PAC
$1,000- American Bus Association PAC
$1,000- American Hospital Association PAC
$5,000- Anheuser-Busch PAC
$1,000- Arch Coal PAC
$3,000- Boeing Company PAC
$ 500- CoalPAC
$1,000- Dairy Farmers of America PAC
$2,000- Emerson Electric
$2,000- FedEx PAC
$2.000- Free and Strong America PAC
$2,000- Honeywell International PAC
$ 500- MinePAC
$1,000- National Air Traffic Controllers PAC
$2,000- National Association of Convenience Stores PAC
$1.000- National Association of Realtors PAC
$1,000- National Rural Letter Carriers PAC
$1,000- Outdoor Advertising Association of America
$2,000- PriceWaterhouseCoopers PAC
$2,000- Raytheon Company PAC
$2,000- Southwest Airlines Pilots Association
$1,000- United Technologies Corporation PAC

What were you saying about Billy Long and special interest groups and lobbyists Ms. Steelman? Oh, I shouldn't bother you with this. You are probably still trying to figure out what free trade is with your chubby little buddy.

Of course the bottom line here is Billy Long said he was fed up with how things were done in Washington and built this myth that he was above Washington only to prove he is Washington.

Bush Tax Cuts Compromise Obviously Isn't Going to Stop Obama from Raising Taxes

Remember before the GOP took control of the House in January, they began compromising with Democrats to save the Bush tax cuts. Democrats got to spend more and the Republicans got to keep the tax cuts. Of course, the damage of this could have been prevented has Republicans pushed for the tax cuts after taking the House and made them retroactive.

Now we are finding out, Obama has a plan to raise taxes anyway. What is he thinking as gas head towards $5 a gallon and the word recession is being uttered by economists? Oh that's right, we are talking about Obama and he doesn't think. So much for the compromise! Conservatives lose again because of the lack of leadership in the Republican ranks.

Here's a predictable Obama telling the American people the Republicans' hearts are in the right place in cutting spending and saving some entitlement programs, but they are going to fundamentally change the America he grew up in. Yes, Obama had the testicular fortitude to say it, even after his socialistic changes have swept through the land fundamentally changing the America we know.

Now I told you back in December and January Obama was going to increase spending, which has happened in the last six months with no budget to place limits on what Obama wants, and he was going to blame the Bush Tax cuts for the rising deficit. It happened sooner than I imagined.

Jonathon Seidl writes:

While the president recommended trimming health care costs in Medicare and Medicaid, he also called for cuts in defense, an overhaul of the tax system to eliminate many loopholes enjoyed by individuals and corporations, and an end to Bush-era tax cuts for wealthier Americans.

“We have to live within our means, we have to reduce our deficit, and we have to get back on a path that will allow us to pay down our debt,” Obama said in a combative speech at George Washington University.

Why does anyone take Obama seriously when he says we have to live within our means? In two years, our federal deficit has risen $4 trillion dollars because of the radical spending plans Obama proposed and encouraged a Democratic Congress to pass.

Oh Look, We Are Still at War in Libya Despite Obama Telling Us the Bombing Missions Are Ending

Obama apparently loves dropping bombs. Despite his claim he is a Constitutional scholar, Obama has avoided all Constitutional advice and limits of war, and today we find out he has lied as American planes are still conducting war in Libya.

From CBS:

The Pentagon revealed for the first time Wednesday that U.S. fighter jets have continued to strike Libyan air defenses after turning the mission over to NATO.

Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan said the jets were assigned to NATO and are operating under NATO command. They can be used when needed to take out enemy defenses as part of the enforcement of the no-fly zone.

What was that Obama said about ending operations by Friday a couple weeks ago?

Republicans Getting Ready to Dig Their Own Grave: Debt Ceiling Passage Assured

The eyes of the Tea Party, the new political force that helped Republicans win big in November, are upon Republicans in Congress. The prediction is, they are about to dig themselves a grave, as the Tea Party is about to run from the Republican label.

Republicans will be forced to raise the debt ceiling now they have wheeled and dealed with Democrats producing compromises that provided minimal spending cuts of just over $38 billion. I am not surprised--in fact it serves John Boehner right for proving he is a spineless leader.

From CNS News:

On Feb. 4, 2010, when the House of Representatives voted to increase the legal limit on the national debt by another $1.9 trillion (lifting the limit from $12.394 trillion to $14.294 trillion), not one Republican voted for the increase.

Then-Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R.-Va.) rose on the House floor that day and declared that it was “beyond comprehension” and “a travesty” to talk about raising the legal debt limit to $14.294 trillion.

Last week, the Republican House leadership agreed to a deal with President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) to spend $3.7555 trillion in this fiscal year--even though at the close of business Friday, as the deal was being struck, the Treasury reported that it could borrow only an additional $80.85 billion before hitting the $14.294-trillion debt limit Congress set last year.

Obviously you can do the math here. The Republicans through Boehner have compromised themselves into supporting the next debt ceiling increase, the one that may finally put us past the point of no return, if in fact we aren't already there. How would you like to have that fact on your resume?

National Auctioneers Day: First Bill Sponsored by Congressman Billy Long

Billy Long hasn't proposed one dime of spending cuts yet since he got to Congress despite being fed up. He has voted to continue federal funding of NASCAR teams. While he tell voters "we got 'er done" referring to the $100 billion in promised spending cuts, Long and the Republicans fell way short. As Busplunge points out, at least Billy Long has his priorities straight.

Here's Long giving a speech on the House floor over what needs to be done to eliminate the national debt.

Nah, that's above Billy's pay grade and IQ.

Rather, here's Billy Long on the House floor proposing the third Saturday in September "Auctioneer Day." If you are one of those people who peddle around on Ebay, you will be included according to Congressman Long.

Meanwhile, we inch closer to the debt ceiling without any real solution other than raise it as Congressmen are falling asleep in the House chamber. Way to show some leadership Congressman Long! I wonder how much it will cost taxpayers to promote National Auctioneers Day as Billy Long pats himself on the back with a holiday to celebrate himself.

Mr. Long sounds a little winded. We're worried about your health Mr. Long. Washington looks like it's taken a toll on you, and you even sounded winded when you do your "Colonel" gig.

Exposing the Craigslist PS3 and Xbox 360 Scam

I am not a gamer. I wanted a PS3 because of its Blu-Ray capabilities and the fact you can legally download movies without having to worry about returning them to the video store from Internet sources like Netflix. When the latest generation of Blu-Ray players came out with streaming capabilities, I decided maybe it was time to trade in the PS3, as news of the PS4 breaks, while it is still has a good resale value.

I turned to Craigslist, which is the best answer for those who are tired of being nickel and dimed by Ebay. Have you seen their charges recently combined with PayPal's charges? It can make serious cut to your bottom line.

Within a couple hours I had responses back of people who were interested in my PS3. By the end of the day, I had a deal. Then the deal started getting complicated, which you can see from the e-mails I received from one Becky Jones hoping I would ship the PS3 to her son.

She was willing to give me her Fed Ex account number to accommodate shipping, which at first I was excited about. Here's her e-mail:

I responded yes.

So I get the following response letting me know she wanted to purchase it:

Thanks for your reply,i am located in Chastworth city

buying on eBay.I will offer you $230 so as to close the

shipment.Get back to me if my approval is granted.I would like to see
the pictures please.

Thanks.

Now I was only asking $200 for it, so the deal just got better because she was going to pay $230. Of course, the hassle of shipping it was solved because all I had to do was fill out a Fed Ex form with the account number on it, and it was done. I sent her an invoice on PayPal, thinking PayPal is safe, which it isn't. Then some red flags started waving after she makes the payment on PayPal.

I have made out the payment online now.Go and check the mail you

that now as i have to sort one or two thing out with them.So i am
sorry as i wont be handling shipment through my fedex
account again. So, pls get the postage cost to the following address
via post office(USPS EXPRESS MAIL) and ship out the item via post

asap cos i have told
my son to be expecting it.I have also included $100 extra for the
shipping.i think that should be enough for you to ship

NAME: Timothy Precious
Address: NO 50, Ita Eko Street Ibara.
CITY: Abeokuta
STATE: Ogun state
COUNTRY: Nigeria
CODE:23439
Let me know how much it costs you to ship. After you ship get back to me
with the amount you used to ship. .I am really sorry for the inconveniences.

So now her Fed Ex account is having some problems. OK, but she included $100 to ship it. Then there is the Nigerian address. Internet scams occur all the time from Nigeria. I began to approach it with caution, but I thought I was protected because she went through PayPal. The scammers are always using Western Union or something they say isn't as safe. As long as I get the money, right?

$100 isn't going to be enough to ship both the PS3 and Beatles Rock Band. I instruct her I need more money. She responds:

Re: Sony PS3 120 GB With Beatles Rockband - $200 (Chillicothe, OH)
From:

Okay, that is why i included $100 extra for the shipping and dont
worry about the rock band he did not need that one just ship the ps3

So the deal just got sweeter. I can sell Beatles Rockband separately and make more money. At the same time, I was thinking is she really trying to cut shipping costs giving up part of the deal so easily.

I got to the UPS Store, not sure if was actually going to ship even though there was money appearing in my PayPal account. There was a look of concern on the face of the cashier. Nigeria? That will be $360 to ship there, but...

Here's where it gets interesting. The woman asked me if it was a PS3 or Xbox 360. I said yes. She then tells me about customers they have had come in asking to stop shipment.

I told her I was worried about it, as I type an e-mail into my Android phone to Becky Jones alerting her the shipping price was way over the $100. I told her I thought I was safe because they used PayPal and not Western Union. She shared with me so did the other people and then suddenly the charges were reversed and they were left without money and their gaming system.

At that same time an e-mail came back to me from G-Mail:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.

At PayPal was a message for me letting me know Becky Jones was having e-mail problems and there she had another e-mail address for me to correspond with her. The new e-mail address is usavolleyball@gmail.com. My critical thinking side which was born through classic literature came out. Cricket and volleyball are games, and this scam is a game Beck Jones plays in the USA. USA*game*@gmail.

I let Becky Jones no I wasn't going to be shipping the product because of the costs to ship it. Then she started ordering me around and her American English which had been carefully controlled soon was exposed as a fraud.

What American says something like that? I knew this was a fraud, and contacted PayPal and canceled the transaction. I decided to play a little game with these people to further expose them. I posted an Xbox 360 and a PS3 for sale on Craigslist. Within just a few hours, I got a response, but it wasn't from Becky Jones. It was from a Mrs. Christina Brown wanting an Xbox360. I tell her she has a deal, and then she starts setting her terms to purchase:

Hi Dear
Thanks for getting back to me,The price you said for the item is okay by me.I resides in Utah but needs to purchase the item as a gift for my son' who left to west Africa for his field work with Agricultural Engineering dept in Our savior university in west Africa.Honestly i would have drive to your house and pick it up but due to the Distance and the Hectic nature of my job as an accountant in State Bank of Southern Utah, so my day's are always busy,I will be paying you through PayPal, these secures and protects two parties in a transaction... I will like you to send me your PayPal invoice or your PayPal identification email for payment or you can send me your full name and full contact address for a money order payment..I will be paying ($300 USD) for the cost price of the Item and the shipping cost through USPS Express mail,i want you to delete this ad from craigslist and consider this item sold to me..[Please i need the information very fast so that i can send the payment to enable you ship the Packages fast. Well the English is so bad in this e-mail, I knew what was coming next.

While that was satisfying enough to lure another scammer to verify my suspicion, I did place two gaming systems I didn't own on Craigslist. While Christina Brown responded to the Xbox 360 ad, a familiar name showed up in my inbox about 12 hours after posting the fake PS3 ad with the Playstation Move add on.

Is this our Nigerian scam artist Becky Jones?
Becky Jones appears to be purchasing a lot of gaming systems for her son, Timoty Precious (who I found on Facebook.)

It appears Becky Jones isn't having any problems with her Fed Ex account anymore. The letter looks quite familiar:

Thanks for your reply,i am located in Chastworth city

The bottom line here is there is a network of people from Nigeria looking to part you from your gaming system. They are scanning Craigslist and they all have a similar tale to tell. While I thought PayPal protects buyer and seller, the UPS Store warned me this simply isn't the case. So add PayPal to the Western Union list of bad Internet deals.

Get the Feeling From Billy Long's New Web Site, He Doesn't Want to be Bothered

Billy Long's congressional office recently launched a new Web site. The site features a picture of our lovable Congressman imposed over a small waterfall near Hurley, Missouri. The one thing I noticed about the Web site is that Congressman Long obviously doesn't want to be bothered with constituents' views and complaints.

For those going to the Web site to contact Mr. Long, you may find yourself frustrated with the new layout. The top menu functions do little to invite you to correspond with your Congressman.

After playing around on the Web site looking for contact information, I notice my mouse finally picks up a hyper link in letters that blend into the white background of the page. You have to look carefully if you want to send Congressman Long an e-mail.

It does get easier to spot if your mouse happens to accidentally roll over the hyperlink.

So it appears this is a Billy Long's Freudian way of telling Constituents he is fed up with your e-mails, and he has better things to do with his time. I think this would be a worthy submission to Vincent Flander's Web Pages that Suck.

Is the Neocon Tea Party Patriot HQ in Branson Dying?

It's April! Time for the Tea Parties to escape the conversations of dimly lit pubs while drinking pitchers of Sam Adams beer and take to the streets. The tax day protests are all scheduled this week from New York down to Florida and across the fruited plane. On the neocon Tea Party Patriot HQ Web site, their events page remains empty. Nothing showing they will rally this weekend against the oppressive government they often support with their unofficial endorsements for candidates who go to Congress and vote for anti Constitutional bills like the USA Patriot Act.

One has to ask the question, considering the importance of the day, and the fact the Branson Tea Party Patriot HQ's Web site, which features the Star of David imposed over the United States Constitution, remains unfinished with no events listed, even months after launching the new Web site that focuses little on the Constitution. If the once-for-profit Tea Party, which is really a neocon front, is failing to win the favor of informed Constitutional patriots, and will be nothing more than a place for the declining Branson tourist population to stop into more as a novelty than any serious Tea Party organization? Will the doors soon close on the Branson Tea Party Patriot HQ?

Last year, Tera Sukman, the founder of the Branson Tea Party Patriot HQ, obviously saw dollar signs for herself and broke off from the Branson Tea Party. She listed the business as a for-profit business under the business name Boomer Sooner. After word got around that Sukman was in it for the dollar signs, she quickly changed the status to a non-profit business.

Meanwhile, the Branson Tea Party remains strong. They will rally along MO-76 this Saturday near the Dick Clark Theater.

Bieber Fever Hits New Low in Israel Where Justin Bieber Won't Meet Israeli Kids in Hospital After Attack on Bus

By now you have seen those puff pieces on the untalented and over exploited kid known as Justin Bieber. You know, the ones that show him as the compassionate young man visiting his fans who haven't been given life's best cards. Well apparently that's not the real Justin Bieber.

The American Perspective blog has an interesting story of Justin Bieber deciding not to spread good cheer to Israeli children who were victims of Gaza rockets. That's right, Bieber will not stop by the hospital to lift up the spirits of these young kids who were victims of a terrorist attack. So all these stories of Bieber going out of his way for kids appears to be nothing more than pathos designed to sell more worthless merchandise.

Here's the story from American Perspective:

Via Haaretz:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled his date with pop sensation Justin Bieber over the singer's refusal to meet with children living in communities affected by Gaza rocket fire, Channel Two reported on Tuesday.

The prime minister was scheduled to host the young singer at his office in Jerusalem on Wednesday evening, before Bieber's Thursday night concert....

The children had disembarked from a school bus just before it was hit by a Hamas rocket last Thursday, critically wounded a teen and moderately wounding the bus driver.

Bieber reportedly refused to meet the children, which led Netanyahu to cancel the meeting.

Even worse are the comments on the Haaretz website. A number of commenters say that Bieber is correct because "what about the children of Gaza". That makes no sense. Showing compassion for Israeli children does not take away from other groups of children. I am disappointed with Bieber. How hard is it to meet with Israeli kids?

You are right, that argument makes no sense because they aren't the ones in the hospital. Besides, Justin Bieber is probably just another infidel that needs to die in their eyes.

Aren't you getting tired of the TSA's excuses of whey the continue to harass Americans. Not surprisingly, TSA thugs are under fire again for patting down and calling for a drug test of a six-year old girl.

“You can’t just re-scan her?” the girl’s mother asks. The TSA agent says no.

The agent tells the girl what she’s doing, including saying she‘s touching the girl’s “sensitive area with the back of my hand.”

Near the end of the minute-and-a-half video, a woman is heard saying: “They’re doing the drug test on her, the whatever test … on a six-year-old.”

“Yeah. it’s their job,” a man replies.

Here's the video:

As usual, we get the same pathetic response from this crack pot team of security that is infringing on our rights.

The TSA says they will reconsider how they inspect passengers under 12. TSA justifies the TSA thug's actions saying the TSA thug followed protocol but won't exempt children from the groping while claiming they want to make the process "more respectable" for families.

More respectable? What does that mean? Take your kid into a private room so the pervs who haven't gotten jobs within the TSA yesterday can't ogle at the work of the TSA thugs?

San Francisco City Government Wants to Scan IDs of Residents Entering Entertainment Venues

The next time you enter a San Francisco movie theater, the following demand might be made. "Your papers please." With no regard to the Fourth Amendment, city leaders are considering a bill that would require residents to have their ID scanned whenever they attended any kind of entertainment venue in which more than 100 people attend, which basically could mean any place.

The law wouldn't stop there. Big brother cameras would be placed in these venues for the eyes of government to prey on the people.

The proposal before members would also mandate that cameras be placed in event halls where they can be clearly seen by attendees. The systems would also need to be freely accessible to local, state and federal law enforcement on demand.

The rules make no mention of safeguards to protect the privacy of event patrons. They would instead require that scanned IDs and video footage from the venues shall be kept for “no less than 15 days” — meaning, they would be able to keep the information forever.

Oh, for the people of San Francisco to believe their city is symbolic of freedom is just laughable! Sodomy and drug use isn't reflective of true freedom.

San Francisco Banned Happy Meals But Welcomes Pringles: It's About Tax Revenue Not Public Health

San Francisco is obviously sending mixed signals. The city which banned the Happy Meal is now welcoming the mystery potato chips known as Pringles to their city. Proctor and Gamble have sold the Pringles brand to Diamond Foods, a San Francisco based snack company. How is that even legal in San Francisco? You mean the food nazis (intolerant liberals who want to police the world) haven't ran them out of town for producing food that kills?

Yet I can't find one major complaint from anyone in San Francisco who supported killing the Happy Meal. I wonder why that is. Can you say when it comes to the overall health of the people of San Francisco, tax revenue is the bottom line. Rob Happy Meals of their happiness and their toys, and you still still have tax dollars coming in. Of course, they wouldn't want to speak up for the years of damage done to the arteries thanks to endless cans of Pringles when there is a boost to the city's tax revenue so they can continue their hypocritical crusades.

Tea Partiers Are a Bunch of Hicks According to Loretta Sanchez

The vitriol continues from the Democrats. Unconcerned that one of their own was gunned down while the press pointed fingers at political vitriol in hopes of stifling free speech, the left still continues with its ignorant and intolerant rhetoric.

Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez called Tea Partiers a bunch of hicks as she mocks them with a southern accent. Hey, Ms. Sanchez, by this time you probably have met Congressman Billy Long, and while he says he is Tea Party, he isn't Tea Party. Just look at his record. You don't need to insult the rest of us based on your first impression of that Tea Party fraud. "Moe" is definitely Billy Long.

One thing is obvious in all of this. Loretta Sanchez doesn't hold the Constitution she took an oath to protect in high regard, of course neither does Billy Long.

Maine's House Passes Sovereignty Bill: Asks Congress to Respect Maine's Sovereignty

It appears states rights, which liberals often equate to the support of slavery, is important in the Northeastern states too. We know conservatives in New Hampshire have attempted to pass state sovereignty bills over the past few years while Democrats in New Hampshire fight them. In Maine, the House of Representatives successfully passed a bill asking Congress to acknowledge the rights of Maine guaranteed by the 10th Amendment.

By a 79-67 vote today, the Republican-controlled House passed the nonbinding resolution that says some congressional mandates exceed federal power. It now awaits a Senate vote.

The resolution highlights the 10th Amendment to the Constitution, which lays out federal and state powers, and asserts that a number of federal mandates exceed congressional authority.

Let's hope Maine's Senate follows the House's lead.

Controversy Over the Ratification of the 14th Amendment

After the Civil War, the federal tyranny tried to remove the image the United States is a collection of sovereign states that are unified for limited purposes such as defense and interstate commerce. There are the two things the federal government is supposed to do. In creating this image, the 14th Amendment was shortly passed.

However, there is controversy surrounding the 14th Amendment, as noted in the Alabama Law Review. It appears the 14th Amendment may be illegal and was never ratified through the legal channels. This isn't the first time in history we have heard this story. There is a similar controversy surrounding the Federal Reserve Act and the 16th Amendment, which has a shady history in 1913, another year that destroyed the vision of the Founding Fathers.

Here's what the Alabama Law Review has to say about ratification of the 14th Amendment.

Was the 14th Amendment Ratified

Is Tim Pawlenty Running for President?: Yes and No

Tim Pawlenty told Piers Morgan on CNN he is running for President.

“I’m running for president,” the former Minnestoa governor told CNN host Piers Morgan. “I’m not putting my hat in the ring rhetorically or ultimately for vice president. I’m focused on running for president.”

Apparently his staff didn't get the memo. His spokesman Alex Conant told CNN that no official announcement has been made, and they will decide and make the announcement later in the spring.

Pawlenty is polling at 2% according to the poll CNN used.

Are We Entering Obama's Recession?

Gasoline is going to hit a record high $5 a gallon this year. What do you think that will do for the economy? People are already driving less, which means they are spending less, preparing for tough times as we near this record predicted to hit for the Memorial Day holiday. Get this, oil consumption is down 5% while prices still rise. Less demand isn't breaking the price increases. This isn't good for Obama's fragile "recovery."

Gallup reports, for the second month in a row, confidence in the economy is slipping. In January 41% of Americans felt the economy was improving. In March that fell to 33%.

The truth is we appear to be heading towards another recession. We have been told there would be a double dip, and as inflation starts to rear its ugly head, the economy is slipping back into sickness.

Bloomberg reports:

The U.S. trade deficit narrowed less than forecast in February, indicating soaring commodity prices hurt the world’s largest economy at the start of the year.

The gap shrank 2.6 percent to $45.8 billion from a larger- than-previously-estimated $47 billion in January, according to figures from the Commerce Department today in Washington. Another report showed the cost of imported goods jumped in March by the most in almost two years.

“Everything was weaker across the board,” Ted Wieseman, an economist at Morgan Stanley in New York, said, referring to the trade data. “Import prices are reflecting surging energy prices,” he said, they “are going through the roof and that has been weighing on consumer spending.”

The median forecast of 71 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News projected the trade gap would shrink to $44 billion. Estimates ranged from deficits of $41 billion to $50.5 billion. The Commerce Department had previously estimated the January shortfall at $46.3 billion.

Morgan Stanley lowered its tracking estimate for gross domestic product in the first three months of the year to a 1.5 percent annual pace from a 1.9 percent forecast prior to the data. Barclays Capital in New York lowered it to a range of 1.5 percent to 2 percent, down a half point. GDP climbed at a 3.1 percent pace in the last three months of 2010.

After eliminating the influence of prices, which renders the figures used to calculate GDP, the trade deficit narrowed to $49.5 billion from $50.3 billion. The figures exceeded the fourth-quarter average of $45.3 billion.

Exports decreased 1.4 percent to $165.1 billion after climbing 2.6 percent in January to a record $167.5 billion. Decreased demand for autos and parts and for capital goods like semiconductors and engines contributed to the drop.

Imports fell 1.7 percent to $210.9 billion after climbing 5.4 percent in January, the biggest gain since 1993. Decreasing demand for autos and petroleum products led the decline.

The world economy will expand 4.4 percent this year and 4.5 percent in 2012, the Washington-based International Monetary Fund said yesterday in its World Economic Outlook report. Developing nations will grow 6.5 percent this year and next while advanced economies will expand 2.4 percent in 2011 and 2.6 percent in 2012, the IMF said.

Republicans Kill Light Bulb Freedom in the Senate

Rand Paul is trying to reverse damage done by Democrats whether it be deficit spending or environmental nonsense. It would be nice of the Republicans in the Senate would help help. Such is not the case.

The Federal Government will soon tell you what light bulbs you have to use. Gone will be the inexpensive model resembling Thomas Edison's great invention, and in its place are the new curly bulbs that are suppose to be environmentally friendly but come with a warning from the EPA if you were to break one--as well as instructions about how to properly throw them away. (You can't just toss them in your trashcan because they are an environmental hazard.)

Senator Rand Paul is trying to put a stop to this nonsense to ensure American consumers can choose the light bulbs they wish to use, but like I said, GOP senators are doing little to help him.

From the Politico:

“On the energy efficiency standards, I think that in order to be consistent with a free society we should make them voluntary,” the Kentucky Republican said, turning a routine markup hearing in the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee into something of a libertarian book club.

Paul offered an amendment to remove the appliance bill’s enforcement authority, but first he turned his attention to Rand’s 1937 novel “Anthem.”

“In that novel,” Paul said, “individual choice is banned and the collective basically runs society.”

Paul gave a brief summary of the circumstances surrounding the novel’s protagonist, named Equality 7-2521, and the lack of the freedoms he must endure.

“Over time, he discovers the subway and rediscovered the incandescent light bulb,” he said. Paul described how the novel’s character then takes the light bulb to a leadership council and “they take the light bulb and, basically, it’s crushed beneath the boot heel of the collective.”

Similarly, the U.S. government is trying to distort the marketplace of consumer products, said Paul, who has also complained about 2007 legislation that imposed tightened efficiency standards for light bulbs.

“I’m not suggesting that this collective is against electricity, per se, or for quashing individualism,” Paul said. “I am suggesting that we’re against choice.”

Once again Senator Paul makes some of the best arguments in the Senate. Get this, thanks to some Republicans who obviously don't believe in freedom like Senator Paul does, Paul's bill was killed before it reached the floor of the Senate.

Committee Chairman Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico opposed Paul’s amendment, saying similar energy efficiency bills have become law on six previous occasions, and all were bipartisan and signed by Republican presidents.

Paul’s amendment failed 16-6. All the committee Democrats and a handful of Republicans, including ranking member Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, opposed the amendment. The overall appliance efficiency bill passed out of the committee 18-4.

Count Ed Martin Out of the US Senate Race in Missouri

Ed Martin showed last quarter he really doesn't stand a chance in the US Senate Race. He lost miserably to the clueless blonde bimbo in fundraising for next year's coming primary.

Martin raised just over $162,000 last quarter, while blondie raised over $1 million in hopes of beating Claire Mama Caskill later on. Of course there is still hope that a Republican with some credibility will come forward and take both of these two out, and it might be a win/win for Ed Martin.

Congressman Todd Akin, who voted against TARP, the bailouts, and Bush's big government agenda still may announce. Rumor has it that redistricting may be the key to lure Martin out of this race and into the House of Representatives, while clearing the way for Akin to take on Sarah Steelman. Steelman is being criticized already in the St. Louis media as "not the sharpest knife in the drawer."

Fed Up With Washington Billy Long Pays Dues to Join Exclusive Capitol Hill Club

The only thing Billy Long and Ronald Reagan have in common other than the R behind their names is they are both good actors. Reagan was a great leader, where Billy Long continues to prove the voters in Southwest Missouri are gullible fools for buying into his "fed up" rhetoric.

Do you remember this Billy Long from the campaign?

"I'm fed up with everything that is going on in DC."

Long was so fed up, one of the first things he did upon getting to DC was join an expensive and exclusive club that caters to the same people Long claimed he was fed up with--career politicians. Obviously, Billy Long likes the status quo of Washington, DC a lot more than he claims based on what I read today in the Turner Report:

Seventh District Congressman Billy Long is so fed up with Washington, that one of the first things he did upon arriving in town is fork over $1,133 for membership in the exclusive Capitol Hill Club, according to his quarterly report, filed Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission.

Long raised $78,517 during the quarter and spent $34,813.15, leaving him with $73,263.35 in his account, according to the report.

"The club is described on its website as "a national social club for Republicans. The stately second floor Presidential Dining Room offers splendid cuisine prepared by our renowned chefs. This room is a favorite place for Senators, Representatives and their guests to dine and discuss the day’s political agenda. The dining room is open for lunch and dinner and is a superb venue for your most memorable weekend events.

"On our lower level, members enjoy the informal atmosphere of the Auchincloss Grill for breakfast, lunch, afternoon drinks and dinner. Always a popular spot, the Grill is especially busy after a late-night session of Congress.

"Named after the Club’s earlier address on C Street, the 75 Room feels like your own living room, with its sofas and nooks. The room offers wireless internet service to members for additional convenience.

"The third and fourth levels include a variety of dining and meeting rooms appropriate for all types of business and social occasions. The newly renovated fourth flour suites are an elegant setting for all events, whether a lunch meeting or evening reception. Groups from 10 to 400 can be accommodated with ease. High speed internet access is available in all our rooms.

Well, at least we don't have to worry about Billy going hungry with his membership. He does look like he has packed on a few pounds since getting to DC--the freshman 50. I wonder if they have a backroom so Long can feel at home.

We go onto learn what we assumed about Long all along. This isn't about the people, this has always been about Long and his cronies and their social status, which is why Jeff Layman and Long were yukking it up with the most disgraceful president of all about the Pittsburgh Steelers just before the Super Bowl, if you remember the tweets from these Long and Layman.

You see the Capitol Hill Club, according to Randy Turner, is not about anything more than Washington social status. So while we know Billy Long isn't reading the bills he co-sponsors like HR607, evident in the News-Leader story where Long was unaware the bill confiscated frequencies from HAM radio operators, we do know he is spending a lot of time on the Washington social scene while spending a great time fundraising as well. Remember, Long said he was fed up with career politicians in Washington because they spend too much time in campaign mode and not enough time focused on the issues. Look at what Billy has become.

It also makes you wonder if an average guy like Mel Hancock, who once served this office and who Long compared himself too, was as frivolous with his campaign donor's money and used it just to gain admission to an exclusive club. Knowing Mr. Hancock and his wife, I rather doubt it.

Turner closes:

Of course, membership in the club might be a good thing if Long was using the access to conduct people's business, but club laws do not allow that to happen:

No member shall carry on or transact any business or indulge in the practice of any profession in the Club at any time...

Now while he is being "fed up," Billy Long will also have a place to be fed.

Mike Church on the Greatest Abraham Lincoln Myth

Trying to wrap one’s mind around the current administration arbitrarily decreeing the power to assassinate Americans, or how the Obama and Bush administrations both managed to suspend the writ of Habeas Corpus, one must first look back to the greatest trampling of the Constitution, i.e. the Civil War.

With the secession of South Carolina, its government issued a proclamation to Union forces garrisoned at Fort Sumter in Charleston Bay, ordering their evacuation. With the federal military stationed at Fort Sumter failing to abide the order, the newly formed confederate government then sent envoys to Washington D.C. with an offer to purchase the fort outright and enter into a peace treaty with the U.S. government. However, with Abraham Lincoln’s ascension to the office of the President, his views and defense towards the right to secession and the 10th Amendment completely vanished; replaced by the precept that the Union must and would be persevered at any cost. Therefore, he refused the confederate delegation on grounds it would be equivalent to recognizing their government, a move that would contradict his newly minted nationalist doctrine.

Instead, on April 4th, President Lincoln sent a small supply vessel shadowed by U.S. naval warships with orders to resupply the fort and to land the artillery and troops in tow should the supply vessel be met with resistance.

One last attempt was made in vain to reach a peaceful surrender of Fort Sumter via confederate Brigadier General P.G.T. Beauregard on April 11. Thus with federal troops still refusing to evacuate or surrender, the battle of Fort Sumter began, one-hundred and fifty years ago today.

By the war’s end, over 600,000 Americans had lost their lives, many of whom were civilians. After nearly two-years of war with the Union army, fighting to a stalemate, Lincoln, Union Generals Grant and Sherman contrived that the only hope of forcing the southern states back into the union would be accomplished by waging a “total war” on the confederacy in order to drive a stake into the southerner’s morale. With Lincoln’s blessing, Generals Grant, Sherman, and Sheridan set out to decimate civilian towns, burning buildings and farms, killing civilians, with General Sherman going so far as to let his subordinated conscript “freed” slaved into the union army at their discretion.

As New York Senator, William Marcy once quipped in response to the election of President Andrew Jackson, “to the victor goes the spoils.” Thus with Lincoln as their precedent, reinforced by the god-like portrayal both in school and popular culture, subsequent Presidents have incrementally transformed the office into that of an Imperial Executive. For a time, their power limited only by revenue coming into federal confers. Unfortunately, with the removal on any state check via the eradication of a federalist constructed Senate and passage of the FEDERAL RESERVE Act both in 1913, this last stop-gap has too fallen to the never-ending lust for additional power and control, the U.S. Constitution be damned. Therefore, when we wonder just how Presidents can send troops to die supporting United Nations resolutions in Iraq or Libya without a Declaration of War, or how the Fourth Amendment can be completely ignored via the PATRIOT Act, look to Lincoln. When we are repulsed by how our government can and does unlawfully detain and torture American and non-Americans alike despite Constitutional prohibitions via the Eighth Amendment and properly ratified treaties, look to Lincoln.

Emancipating the slaves, don’t look to Lincoln, because despite what the nationalist government schoolbooks teach, this perhaps is the greatest Lincoln myth of them all.

Have Billy Long, Roy Blunt, and Claire McCaskill Been Called in to Save IB at Ozark Schools?

The campaign against the International Baccalaureate in Ozark, Missouri, has picked up. Yard signs are getting noticed in the fresh spring grass. Constitutional conservative talk radio is speaking out against the IB as the Super Dave radio show did over four hours of talk against the IB drawing the conclusion the IB is indoctrination for a one world government. The Springfield Tea Party addressed its concerns about the IB infiltration, which supports radical liberal United Nation's agendas like the Human Rights Doctrine as well as radical environmental views like the Earth Charter. People in Ozark are finally asking the question is the IB what we want creating curriculum for Ozark students?

Thanks to this grass roots campaign started by one of the teachers at Ozark High School who was asked to support the IB, but hesitated knowing he should research the organization before going along, the Ozark School Board appears to be calling in the heavyweights to promote their IB agenda.

Ozark parents received a phone call earlier today inviting them to a school board meeting for a discussion in quality in education. For the past several months, quality in education has revolved around the controversial International Baccalaureate, an international body with ties to the United Nations with a globalist agenda that is clearly anti-American.

In order to have this discussion in quality education, Congressman Billy Long will join Senator Roy Blunt and Senator Claire Mama Caskill, obviously ethos for the school board's agenda, to discuss quality in education. It is unknown if these three will put their seal of approval on the IB, but one has to suspect that is what the school board and administration is up to hoping to avoid the tough questions about the IB's radical ties.

This will obviously be Billy Long's first test to see where he really stands on education. At the Ozark Chamber of Commerce congressional forum held last year, Long plead ignorance to Obama's educational initiative called Race to the Top. Long did say he supports returning local control back to the communities while ending the Department of Education. If Long comes out to support the IB, he clearly proves he's a hypocrite since the IB would give control to the international governing body in Switzerland, who have ties the UN and endorses ideas like the redistribution of wealth, confiscation of firearms, and the devaluing of Christianity.

As well, since Long told the Washington press corp his pocket Constitution is "rode hard and put up wet," I have to ask why any of these three members of Congress are coming to an Ozark School Board. Obviously, it has to do with the IB, since that is what Ozark is pushing for to improve quality. When I look at Article One Section Eight of the Constitution, none of these members of Congress have an enumerated power to regulate or fund education on the federal level. Obviously, that has been violated since 1980, when the Department of Education was formed, and federal programs like No Child Left Behind have been proven a total failure.

Anyway, this will be interesting to watch on Thursday night--especially with Congressman Long. I have a feeling on Thursday night we will see just how committed Long is to returning control of education back to our communities. Something tells me he is going to fail the test.

Ron Paul Explains Why Paul Ryan's Budget Will Fail to Bring the US out of Debt

Ron Paul's latest installment of his weekly address has some words to consider before celebrating Paul Ryan's budget plan. In case you haven't heard, Ryan's plan doesn't end the nanny state in American--rather it reforms it to allow it to live on life support for a few more years.

While Congressman Paul never acknowledges Ryan's plan, you know Congressman Paul already has concerns over Ryan's decision to reform broken entitlements rather than end them once and for all. It's clear Paul is pointing at Ryan and his neocon cronies.

Unfortunately, the compromises always seem to be just the opposite. Instead of the left agreeing to cut social spending and the right agreeing to cut military spending, the right agrees to more welfare and the left agrees to more warfare. In spite of all the rhetoric, we will go deeper in debt, the Fed will print more money, and the value of the dollar will continue to plummet. How long will it be before foreigners stop buying our debt, and hyperinflation arrives? Throughout history, empires have always overextended themselves through conquests and wealth transfers leading to eventual collapse, from the Roman Empire to the Soviet Union. We are headed in the same direction and it seems only the chaos of the collapse of the dollar will stop the spending spree. Arguing over funding for Planned Parenthood and NPR, though important, only shows that leadership in Washington either won’t face reality, or don’t understand how serious the problem is.

Of course, an actual government collapse would create serious problems for many people who have come to depend on government payments for healthcare, retirement income, their children’s education, and even food and housing. However, these so-called entitlement programs are unconstitutional to begin with and have engendered a culture of dependence on wealth transfer payments that is out of control. It concerns me greatly that instead of dealing seriously with our situation, so many in Washington would rather allow the chaos that will ensue when all of the dependent people are suddenly cut off. Better to look reality squarely in the face and tell people the difficult truth that government is simply not capable of managing people’s lives from cradle to grave as was foolishly promised. We face trillions in deficits with any of the budgets under consideration. Keeping those promises is, sadly, just not one of our options in the long run. Better to admit the nanny state is coming to an end and we are no longer working on “compromises” but a transition – to a sustainable way of life, one that respects the constitution, the rule of law and property rights.

A Question for Maya Soetoro-Ng, Can You Prove It?: Of Course Not

Barry Soetoro's sister Maya Soetoro-Ng has made a claim about her brother. As Donald Trump is challenging Obama's citizenship, Maya has some words that don't exactly put the birth certificate controversy to rest; although, it appears because Maya comes on TV to say it, that should be the case.

“I think it’s ridiculous. He was born in Hawaii. There’s a tremendous amount of proof that has already been presented.”

She added: “I think it is time for people to put [birterism] to bed, put it to rest completely.”

Ok, Maya, prove it. Produce the elusive document that Obama continues to run from. Surely if this wasn't a problem for Obama, he or someone like you would have put this controversy to rest by simply showing the long-form birth certificate. It's really not that hard to come up with... is it?

Your Right to the Internet Depends on Who You Are: Dems Free Internet for the Poor, Tax Everyone Else on the Net

It wasn't that long ago that some Democrats made the case the Internet is a right. Then they began writing bills to federally subsidize the Internet for the poor. Today we find out, the Internet is only a right if the Democrats want votes from their typical constituents--government dependents.

The days of taxing the Internet are coming. One Democrat wants to place new taxes on the Internet.

A Democratic senator is preparing to introduce legislation that aims to end the golden era of tax-free Internet shopping.
The proposal--expected to be made public soon after Tax Day--would rewrite the ground rules for Internet and mail order sales by eliminating the ability of Americans to shop at Web sites like Amazon.com and Overstock.com without paying state sales taxes.

Dick Durbin of Illinois, the second most senior Senate Democrat, will introduce the bill after the Easter recess, a Democratic aide told CNET.

"Why should out-of-state companies that sell their products online have an unfair advantage over Main Street bricks-and-mortar businesses?" Durbin said in a speech in Collinsville, Ill., in February. "Out-of-state companies that aren't paying their fair share of taxes are sticking Illinois residents and businesses with the tab."

Oh Dick, you are so easy to see through. Everyone knows the state of Illinois is in a budget crisis and heavily in debt. This has nothing to do with the Main Street businesses (especially Chicago businesses) that are often taxed out of business or forced to leave the state in states like Illinois. This is about raising revenue in Illinois period, a state so cash strapped, that Durbin pretends to be pro-business in hopes of getting away with it.

Teacher Jessica Boyle Turns Elementary Classroom into a Slave Auction

Today, in case you didn't know, is Fort Sumter Day--the day Abraham Lincoln killed the Tenth Amendment. Facing unfair tariffs, the southern states succeeded from the union while Lincoln boasted he could care less about freeing the slaves in his Inaugural Address and his letter to Horace Greeley.  This story probably isn't told in Jessical Boyle's fourth grade class as the Civil War has been rewritten as almost a religious experience turning Lincoln into this God in American history known as the Great Emancipator, when the truth is Lincoln cared nothing about freeing the slaves when the Civil War started. He only cared about keeping the union together, and in doing so he trampled the Constitution multiple times.

None the less, the misguided lessons of Ms. Boyle are in the spot light today as we look back to Lincoln the agitator, who sent Union troops down to Fort Sumter, harassing Southern troops in a battle of nerves leading to the first shot that led to the deaths of 600,000 Americans. It was only later on towards the end of the war that Lincoln took up the cause of slavery. The fourth graders at Sewells Point Elementary School probably weren't told these things as Boyle turned them into slaves and slave owners as the classroom turned into a slave auction for a few hours. (I wonder if they invited Congressman Billy Long to do the auctioneering; after all, he has been seen around the DC area performing auctioneer services to raise money for schools in the Washington area.)

“She had not conducted a mock slave auction in class before,” Norfolk public schools spokeswoman Elizabeth Thiel Mather wrote in a statement. She added that “appropriate personnel action is being taken” but would not discuss the details.

Here's an interesting fact about this mock slave auction in Boyle's classroom. Her students consist of 40% white and 40% black. I wonder how she conducted who got chosen to play which parts, especially if she was concerned about the authenticity of the auction. It must not have been authentic enough to generate Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton's interests.

At the Request of a Reader: The Founders Red Pill

This blog endorses the Mike Church radio program on Sirius XM Patriot. There is no truer Constitutional conservative on the radio.

A reader asked me to see the I took the Founders Red Pill graphic on a larger scale as they were looking for information about this weekend's Branson Tea Party. At the request of the reader, I am posting the image, as it's another example of the brilliance of Mike Church. You can order a t-shirt with this image from the Mike Church Web site at http://www.mikechurch.com

A Day in the Life of Mitt Romney

Did you catch Mitt Romney's announcement he was all but running for President? Yesterday, Mitt for Brains Romney made it official, he was forming an exploratory committee for President. This wasn't any surprise.

His lifeless announcement wasn't any surprise. Mitt for Brains isn't running to restore our Constitutional Republic. His lifeless video was all about Mitt. Mitt is running for Mitt because Mitt has an ego. His announcement was about all the things Mitt for Brains Romney has done in Massachusetts and quite frankly, it put me to sleep. Where is the excitement that Ronald Reagan brought to the party? Romney claims Reagan was his mentor, but you would never have heard this babbling from Reagan. Romney is saying I am from the government and I can make it better, and we all know what Reagan said the nine scariest words in the English language are.

"I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."

Listen to Mitt for Brains announce and tell me I am wrong.

Did you catch Mitt Romney claiming he has spent his entire career in the private sector? I guess he wants us to forget those years he inspired Obama to create Obamacare. Oh, but then he reminds us he was governor without reminding us of Romneycare... ZZZZZ. Did you fall asleep? Notice how his tone picks up. He is about as enthused making this announcement as I am watching it. Not sure how you are going to beat hope and change if our candidate is the walking dead with perfect hair and makeup.

Oh the hair is perfect, his make up doesn't run. Mitt for Brains is a pretty boy. I bet a day in the life of Mitt Romney looks something like this.

Warning: Christian Bale's naked butt will be shown in this video depicting a day in the life of Mitt Romney.

It Appears the Anger at John Boehner's Compromise with Democrats on Budget is Growing

When I learned how little in federal spending John Boehner was willing to accept in his compromise with Democrats, I quickly became angered. Rightfully so, having examined what else Republicans gave up to keep the government operating, well it should be no surprise that anger is beginning to build from conservatives against John Boehner and most of the Republicans. (Billy Long, you did right on this one.)

The Washington Examiner writes:

With the 2011 budget battle nearly behind them, Republicans are eager to begin pressing for their 2012 budget blueprint, which would cut spending by more than $4 trillion over the next decade and revamp Medicare and Medicaid.

A House vote on the 2012 budget resolution is slated for Friday, but the GOP must first push through the 2011 spending bill despite growing opposition from some Republican lawmakers who say it cuts far too little.

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, who was largely deemed the victor in last week's budget standoff between Republicans and Democrats, must sell this plan to the most fiscally conservative in his party. He made the case Monday in a USA Today opinion piece that it is time for the House to pass the 2011 budget and move onto the 2012 spending plan, which he said advances the Republican cost-cutting effort "from saving billions of dollars to saving trillions of dollars."

A vote on the 2011 budget is scheduled for Wednesday.

But many fiscal conservatives, including Reps. Mike Pence, R-Ind., and Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, have announced they will not back the 2011 plan because it cuts only $38.5 billion, a historic amount for a single-year reduction but about $23 billion less than what Republican lawmakers said was needed to fulfill their campaign pledge to reduce spending to 2008 levels.

Jordan, who heads a large faction of conservative House Republicans as chairman of the Republican Study Committee, said he expects significant GOP opposition when the 2011 budget comes up for a vote.

Even with a 24-seat majority, Republicans will almost certainly need the help of fiscally moderate Democrats to get the 2011 plan passed, Republican aides told The Washington Examiner, because many GOP conservatives and freshmen backed by the Tea Party will vote against it.

The federal government is operating under a temporary funding measure that expires Thursday at midnight.

Influential conservatives are pushing the GOP's far right flank to oppose the 2011 bill. Talk show host Rush Limbaugh panned the deal Monday and said the media and political pundits were too eager to praise Boehner, who he said should have pushed harder for deeper cuts.

"It doesn't appear that the rank and file is buying any of the spin," Limbaugh noted.

UN Outlines its Radical Environmental Agenda Which Will Almost be Assured Taught in International Baccalaureate World Schools

The connection between the United Nations and the International Baccalaureate is one that concerns me. The UN endorsed IB is the educational arm of the United Nations to indoctrinate students with globalist beliefs like radical environmentalism. This connection should concern all parents whose children are involved in IB, especially with the latest attempt by the United Nations to push a radical environmental agenda.

Bolivia will this month table a draft United Nations treaty giving "Mother Earth" the same rights as humans — having just passed a domestic law that does the same for bugs, trees and all other natural things in the South American country.

The bid aims to have the UN recognize the Earth as a living entity that humans have sought to "dominate and exploit" — to the point that the "well-being and existence of many beings" is now threatened.

The wording may yet evolve, but the general structure is meant to mirror Bolivia's Law of the Rights of Mother Earth, which Bolivian President Evo Morales enacted in January.

In other words, if the United Nations passes this agenda, even the dirtiest of disease carrying ticks will have the same rights that you and I have. This Rights of Mother Earth will no doubt infiltrate, if passed, through the UN's classrooms that participate in the IB. The IB already supports the liberal UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and also endorsed the radical environmentalists' Earth Charter. This is why we need to keep the UN out of American schools--to protect capitalism and the free market, which these radical environmental agendas seek to attack.

Billy "I Voted for the Patriot Act" Long Will Speak at Joplin Tea Party

I thought the idea of the Tea Party was to let Tea Party citizens come together to inform their elected leaders about their dissatisfaction of government spending and the lack of compliance with the Constitution. Apparently, that isn't the case in Joplin, Missouri, where the event is starting to look like an extension of February's Lincoln Day Even rather than an event where common people speak out for liberty and freedom. It has been announced that Billy Long will address the Tea Party in Joplin.

A Tea Party who can't see through Long yet, is a Tea Party that doesn't need to exist. Oh sure, he voted correctly on the latest round of budget talks last weekend, but his record in supporting our Constitution is weak. The very idea the Joplin Tea Party is propping up the representative to speak to those involved in the Tea Party shows me the Tea Party in Joplin needs  better leadership.

How quickly do they forget in Joplin that Billy Long voted for the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment killing Patriot Act extension, a law Tea Party founder Ron Paul has spoken out against with great concern as to the rights of individual Americans.

As well, as the Tea Party should be concerned about Obama's unconstitutional attack and act of aggression as the nation building of the federal government continues even against the advice of our Founding Fathers. In a recent letter to a constituent, Long says he supports the military attacks against Libya despite John Quincy Adams saying America "goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy." Apparently, Long didn't pick up in his rode hard and put up wet pocket Constitution that our military is to be used in defense and not aggression.

Let's not forget Long's promise to cut federal spending. Long didn't provide any input by proposing any amendments to HR1; however he did vote to continue federal funding of NASCAR Teams. As well, Long quickly showed how quickly he could be influenced to break his no earmark pledge when O'Reilly Arena on the campus of Drury University didn't receive the federal money they were promised to build a storm shelter. I can't find anywhere in the Constitution where it's the job of Congress or the federal government to build storm shelters, but Long's office promised to fight to see that Drury University received the federal money for this pet project/earmark.

Where was Billy Long during the greatest symbol yet that showed how powerful the Tea Party had become? Remember the reading of the Constitution on the House floor? Nancy Pelosi showed up to read the Constitution, but Billy Long was meeting with a lobbyist and missed reading the Constitution on this historic day in Congress.

Then there was Long's attempt to silence his political enemies by taking political advantage of the Gabrielle Giffords tragedy by asking the FBI to investigate his critics and then pay them a visit nothing they might be threats to Congressman Long. This was Long's attempt to trample the First Amendment the Tea Parties require in order to spread their message. It definitely wasn't very Tea Party of Congressman Long.

So why is Billy Long addressing the Tea Party when he has clearly shown in the almost four months he has been in Congress he isn't committed to following the Constitution. I invite the Joplin Tea Party to provide some answers here. If anything, Billy Long should be forced to listen to the Tea Party message rather than being given the chance to pollute it.

Congressman Long Throwing ANOTHER Fundraiser

During the Republican primary, candidate Billy Long attacked career politicians claiming they spend too much time in Washington getting reelected. Well guess what, now that Billy Long is one of them and has the title Congressman, he is spending A LOT of time worried about getting reelected.

It started just nine days after Long won his seat in Congress. He sent out an e-mail to Missouri State political science students for interns to work his reelection committee. So without even casting his first vote, Long began his reelection bid.

Since then, Long has maintained a busy fundraising record hosting expensive dinners at swank restaurants, and even attending CPAC not to become a better Constitutional conservative (if that is even possible at CPAC anymore) but to raise money for his reelection bid.

We have learned of another event to raise money for Congressman Long. Now remember, Long promised voters of Southwest Missouri he would do things like read bills and work hard to cut spending, but it appears Long is more ready to raise money for his reelection bid than the work he needs promised to put into his job in Washington. Remember, the Springfield News-Leader said Long was unaware HR 607, a bill he co-sponsored with Peter King, confiscated frequencies from HAM radio operators. As well, when it came to cutting spending in HR1 Congressman Long proposed no spending cuts, but was quick to support federal funding for NASCAR teams.

Here's the information about the latest Billy Long fundraiser.

Dinner for Billy Long

There is $1000 charge if you are one of those special interest groups we were told by the likes of Sarah Steelman that Billy Long wouldn't let influence him in Washington, and there is a $500 for the average Joe (as if that still applies to American politicians) to attend the event. Washington, including Billy Long, doesn't care about the average Joe unless they are expanding their campaign coffers.

So this is what Sarah Steelman promised Southwest Missouri we would get out of Billy Long when she endorsed him:

I hope you will consider voting for Billy Long for Congress. The way I see it is we need someone who is not part of the political establishment. We need someone who loves his country and is willing to put his country before himself; before his party; before politics as usual; before special interest groups; before lobbyists; and before his colleagues in Congress. We need someone who will put YOU before money and power and influence.

But it's clear, seeing how Long always invites special interest groups (PACs) to his event, Steelman obviously didn't know who she was endorsing or knew the fed up of DC routine was meaningless rhetoric. Long is clearly allowing special interest to influence him as he throws ANOTHER fundraiser.
