Texas A&M Student Government Cracks Down on Illegal Immigration by Voting to Eliminate Tuition Perks, Unfortunately...

Watch the mainstream media go to work to demonize the student government at Texas A&M. The student government passed a bill that would no longer allow illegal immigrants to take advantage of in-state tuition rates. Why are they even voting on this? This should have been a given. You aren't officially a resident, not in-state tuition for you!

Since 2001, illegal immigrants in Texas have qualified for in-state tuition, which offers them a generous discount compared to out-of-state students attending the university. Texas A&M has 49,000 students, and about 300 are illegal immigrants.

However, while this was the right thing to do, it turns out the Texas A&M student government president is a liberal weenie. He vetoed bill S.B. 63-11. This weenie's name is Jacob Robinson.

Robinson, who vetoed the bill, says that it’s up to the state legislature – not the school – to address the problem of illegal immigration.

“This is a state of residency issue and the state needs to address this first,” said Robinson.

So while other students who don't officially reside in Texas are forced to pay a higher tuition and follow the rules, Robinson doesn't believe the rules should be followed.

Heck, these students shouldn't even be allowed to attend the university. If they are here illegally, the laws have already been written Mr. Robinson. The student government should be working with immigration officials to remove these students from the country because they are hear illegally. Someone needs to call for an impeachment of Jacob Robinson at Texas A&M.
