TSA Advertises Jobs on Pizza Boxes and Attracts Lowest Common Denominator Employees

We have already learned of one TSA agent today who is being investigated for alleged crimes against a woman including sexual assault. Now we are learning where the TSA goes to find these quality candidates whose job is to feel people up and not necessarily catch terrorists.

Fox News in Washington DC is reporting the TSA is advertising on pizza delivery boxes for new employees. In an economy where jobs are hard to find and the government sector is the only growing sector in the economy, one would think it wouldn't be this hard to find some junk feelers.

The ad reads, ""See yourself in a vital role for Homeland Security: A Career Where X-Ray Vision and Federal Benefits Come Standard," screams a TSA ad appearing on pizza boxes popping up across the Washington, D.C., region.

TSA spokesman Greg Soule said the method was intended to reach a "broader applicant pool." He declined to say how much the agency was spending on the campaign.

Gee, think about how Nazi Germany might be viewed differently had Hitler only been a pizza lover and come up with this idea! It definitely reminds me of the sick and twisted government rhetoric that was satired in Starship Troopers.
