It turns out the "weapon of mass destruction" that caught the FBI's attention wasn't anything but a dummy. As a great debate happens in the United States over a state sponsored police state ran by the TSA, we get another interesting story of terrorism--the Chrsistmas Tree Bomber of Portland,Mohamed Osman Mohamud. Why am I skeptical?
We are learning now Mohamud yelled “Allahu Akhkbar” as he was arrested scuffling with police and federal law enforcement. Witnesses said they saw the man kicking law enforcement officials.
He is being charged with the attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction. The US Attorney's Office issued the following statement after Mohamud was arrested:
"The device was in fact inert, and the public was never in danger."
