WikiLeaks Shows Karzai Demanded US to Release Insurgents, Dangerous Criminals, and Drug Traffickers

WikiLeaks shows the puppet government of Afghanistan created by the Bush Administration pardoned terrorists, insurgents, dangerous criminals, and drug traffickers. Afghan President Hamid Karzai ordered the release of these prisoners from US detention facilities.

While the cables show the US rebuked the actions of Karzai, US officials complied with his pardons putting these drug traffickers, who help bring heroin into the United States, back on their routes.

“Both authorize the release of detainees pre-trial and allow dangerous individuals to go free or re-enter the battlefield without ever facing an Afghan court,” said a cable dated August 2009 and classified as “secret” by US deputy ambassador to Afghanistan Francis Ricciardone.

“Despite our complaints and expressions of concern to the GIRoA (Afghan government), pre-trial releases continue,” it said.

Sorry, but since when to we let Karzi tell us what to do? I thought we were fighting wars on terror and drugs in Afghanistan, but apparently we aren't very serious about it if we are going to let the Afghan puppet order us to release insurgents, dangerous criminals, and drug traffickers.
