Senator Jay Rockefeller Doesn't Believe in the First Amendment: Calls for FCC to Remove Fox News and MSNBC from the Air
Senator Jay Rockefeller says the success of Congress depends on the removal of Fox News and MSNBC. He believes the FCC should remove these news sources from the airwaves.
"There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.' It would be a big favor to political discourse; our ability to do our work here in Congress, and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and more importantly, in their future."
Hey, and while you are at it Mr. Rockefeller, why stop there? Why not just get the eraser out and remove that inconvenience to federal government known as the First Amendment.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
If you want faith in the American government Mr. Rockefeller, I would suggest you read that Constitution you obviously don't have any regard for and figure out how to live within the limits is sets for the federal government.
