Barney Frank: Spending Cuts Going to be a A "Great Pain in the Ass"

Barney Frank is upset because some major spending cuts are going to take place in Washington come January. Of course, I don't know why he is this upset. The Republicans have only promised to cut spending to 2008 levels, which created another $450 billion in debt. I guess Barney isn't just addicted to other peoples' money, he's a junkie.

“Fascinating fact, apparently for the first time in anybody’s memory, members of Congress have declined seats on the Appropriations Committee,” Frank said Nov. 18 during a CATO Institute panel on defense spending.

“The Appropriations Committee, which has been a great plum, is now going to be a great pain in the ass because you’re going to be expected to come up with cuts in things that are very popular, et cetera.”

You mean like Fannie and Freddie Mr. Frank, which helped lead to the fun in the current economy? Gee, I thought Frank liked great pains in the ass, anyway. What is he complaining about?
