Homeland Security Considers Ending Color Coded Terrorist Warnings, But Will Increase Invasive Security at Airports With New System

Apparently the threat of terrorism is not longer worth having code red days anymore. The Department of Homeland Security is thinking about scrapping the code system instigated after the 9/11 attacks.

However, the warnings aren't going to end. In fact, they are going to become more like the warnings the FDA wants to put on cigarette packages--more descriptive. Do you want to know why the Department of Homeland Security would want to throw out the colors for more descriptive alerts?

Colors don't mean anything to travelers, but detailed warnings are more likely to play on your emotions. The more they play on your emotions and create fear, the more likely you will be to accept the intrusive unconstitutional pat downs and naked body scanners at airports. As well, you will be more likely to smile when they put them in subway stations and other places where the Department of Homeland Security seems fit.

This is all an expansion plan. Make no doubt about it. This is about compliance, which has been stated over and over by the head of the TSA and Department of Homeland Security, and fear is the best way to make you comply. These new warnings will be based on pure fear.
