Breaking Story: Cox Hospital Garage may be Dug Up to Search for Sherrill Levitt, Suzie Streeter, and Stacy McCall

On June 7, 1992, the Springfield, Missouri, women mysteriously disappeared and were never heard of again. The story would make national news as the community went on an extensive search looking for Sherrill Levitt, Suzie Streeter, and Stacy McCall, who disappeared from their house at 1717 E. Delmar Street. Two of the women were last seen after leaving a party celebrating their graduation from Kickapoo High School.

There is a major development in the case tonight. A psychic tip led to radar image of the Cox Hospital parking garage turned up an image that radar expert Rick Norland and believes shows three organic objects burried underneath the parking garage of Cox Hospital.

Norland shared his observation with the Springfield Police in 2007, but the Springfield Police Department went on record saying they would not dig around the parking garage, nor would they take an inexpensive core sample. All that might be changing though.

The new Springfield Police Chief told KY3 tonight he might be willing to examine the evidence and possibly examine the Cox Hospital site. Cox said they would be willing to work with the police and allow the dig if the police were to move the investigation in that direction.

Police expect to make a decision in the next two weeks whether or not they will dig up the part of the garage which the radar showed the possibility of three organic forms.
