Property owners have always had a greater stake in voting. They are more likely to consider how issues like tax increases have an overall effect on their interest than say a student who has their hands out for more federal aid. Our voting laws have changed drastically over the 200 plus years, and there is always an underlying motive of politicians who continue to make more and more people eligible to vote. What many people don't understand is that founding fathers originally only let property voters participate in American elections because of their investments.
As voting rights have changed, you can easily see how the redistribution of wealth has influenced issues in federal elections. Issues our founding fathers never imagined like welfare always come with harsh and hateful rhetoric delivered by liberals who are quick to move away from the founding principles of our country--usually in exchange for federal safety nets to ensure voting blocks thanks to their redistribution of wealth welfare agenda.
Tea Party Nation Founder Judson Phillips has had enough. He is calling for a return of voting rights to property owners who have a greater stake in the American dream.
He has been laying out a valid argument in e-mails to a liberal group called Think Progress. He notes, "During the course of our discussion, I mentioned that the Founding Fathers limited voting rights to property owners. I commented this was a wise idea."
As you can hear in the audio clip, which has drawn attacks from liberals, Phillips explains why property owners were given the right to vote by our founding fathers. Liberals, are attacking this man claiming "Tea Party Leaders Attack Constitution." Obviously, liberals suffer from the multicultural communist education that fails to teach the truth about the founding fathers these days.
