Hypocrisy Alert: Missouri Democratic Party Chairmain Craig Hosmer Calls on Vicky Hartzler and Billy Long to Forgo “Gov’t Provided Health Care” They Railed Against on Campaign Trail
Jefferson City, Mo. – For months on the campaign trail, newly-elected Republicans like Vicky Hartzler and Billy Long railed against health reform that would ensure that Americans get the same quality insurance as members of Congress. Today, however, it is a much different story. Now, Vicky Hartzler and Billy Long are set to accept the same type of quality health care that they want to deny their constituents and the American people.
Missouri Democratic Party Democratic Chairman Craig Hosmer released the following statement highlighting Vicky Hartzler and Billy Long's blatant hypocrisy and called on them to forgo the health insurance issued through the U.S. House of Representatives – the same type of quality care they want to deny the American people.
“During the 2010 elections, we heard nothing but fear and negativity coming from Republicans like Vicky Hartzler and Billy Long when they discussed health care reform and the desire to offer the American people the type of quality, affordable health insurance enjoyed by Members of Congress. Now, in an extremely hypocritical move, they are about to accept the very thing they railed against to help get them elected. The question is: will Vicky Hartzler and Billy Long reject their federal health insurance plans or will they show themselves to be true hypocrites, who believe they deserve better health insurance than the people of Missouri?”

While I agree with you that Billy Long is a hypocrite, we will both have to demonstrate his hypocrisy from separate side of the aisle. Not only is Billy Long a hypocrite, he is a bit confused to. I am not sure what he wants to repeal considering he seems to like so much of Obamacare.
