- Confiscate 60 percent of wages?
- Walked all over your private property rights with taxes and environmental policies?
- Subjected their citizens to unwarranted searches?
- Treated citizens like criminals until they are proven innocent?
- Asked citizens to spy on each other?
- Kept records of activities on all citizens right down to what they are purchasing?
- Tell citizens what they can consume and how much they can consume?
- That pursued fiscal policies that devalued everything you ever worked for?
- Redistributed wealth without shame?
- Penalized those who work hard for what they have?
Sounds like a real nasty place doesn't it, maybe a place that you would expect freedom loving people to condemn?
But wait a minute, that sounds like where I live--the United States of America. Isn't it sad.
