Kudos to Senator Jim Inhofe for Standing Up for Christmas: Won't March in Tulsa's "Holiday Parade"
Senator Jim Inhofe won't be making an appearance in Tulsa's "Holiday Parade." He is offended they removed Christmas from the parade, and he's not afraid to say so.
"Last year, the forces of political correctness removed the word ‘Christmas’ and replaced it with ‘Holiday’ instead,'' the Oklahoma Republican said.
"I am deeply saddened and disappointed by this change.''
"I did not do so last year, because I’m not going to ride in a Christmas parade that doesn’t recognize Christmas,'' he said.
"I am hopeful that the good people of Tulsa and the city’s leadership will demand a correction to this shameful attempt to take Christ, the true reason for our celebration, out of the parade’s title. Until the parade is again named the Christmas Parade of Lights, I will not participate.''

Billy Long Engages in Wasteful Federal Spending While Vicky Hartzler Stays Home
Long is in part II of freshman orientation of new Congressmen. It's basically a two and half day conference on public policy and legislative education for Congressmen taught by liberal Harvard University. It's interesting Billy Long not only decided to go, he actually seemed quite excited about it despite being "fed up."
On April 29, 1992, Tom DeLay stood up on the House floor and decried a 'tax-funded boondoggle' that sent freshman members of Congress to Harvard for a seminar. 'Yes,' DeLay asserted, 'the congressional freshman orientation at Harvard doesn't cost millions of dollars. But even the thousands of dollars of tax money used for this congressional boondoggle sets a bad example for new Members of Congress.' Instead, DeLay urged, 'grass-roots organizations' should conduct orientations at no cost to the American taxpayer. The organizations DeLay named were" the Coalition for America, the Council for National Policy, Free Congress Foundation, and Free the Eagle," Sarah Posner wrote February 21, 2005, for The Gadflyer.
Billy Long participating in a 'tax-funded boondoggle' tell me it isn't so. He was supposed to be fed up with these sort of things, wasn't he?
It appears the the new Congressman-elect from just north of the Seventh District decided not to go, which probably saved tax payers thousands of dollars. It appears Vicky Hartzler decided not to go to liberal Harvard on the taxpayer dime and yuk it up with the establishment. Her tweets show that she stayed and worked in her district today listening to the people that matter.

I have to admit I have told a few people I am not as upset about WikiLeaks as a lot of people are. I was scared to admit that, but the first WikiLeak I read was about the number of civilian casualties in Iraq, a number that is much larger than the number of insurgents killed. It's a shame the federal government hides this information from the American people, after all, it's the American people who pay for the smart bombs that are supposed to hit their targets to limit these casualties.
Obviously, a good chunk of the federal budget goes to defense, and there has always been an American humanitarian spirit in war that we not only take care of our own, but we also treat our enemies in the battlefield if there is space to treat them. As well, Americans in battle traditionally don't pursue civilian casualties. One of the positives I have found from WikiLeaks is knowing that defense contractors are overselling the effectiveness of precision smart weaponry, and perhaps we need to push the defense industry to improve on these weapons to limit the amount of civilian casualties.
I was surprised to see a piece on Breitbart today that was titled "WikiLeaks Performed a Public Service" written by Larry Klayman who also looks at positive aspects of the WikiLeaks.
I applaud the release of over 250,000 documents by WikiLeaks. While I do not condone breaking the law, if indeed this was the means to obtain and release so-called national security documents, the hard fact is that the government has again been caught lying to the American people about the motives and means behind its foreign policy. The administrations of Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and now Barack Obama have been exposed to be not only deceitful, but incompetent in their foreign policy. It is a sad day, for example, when the King of Saudi Arabia has been revealed to have more common sense and fortitude than Barack Obama, in advocating the removal of the radical Islamic regime in Iran and the destruction of the terrorist state’s nuclear program.
That Attorney General Eric Holder, a criminal in his own right given his past participation during the Clinton administration in illegally helping to sell pardons and other perks for campaign contributions, has threatened WikiLeaks officials and others with prosecution is typical of a government that wants to subvert the interests of the American people by falsifying and keeping secret its own crimes and failures.
That a group like WikiLeaks had to arguably break the law to lay bear the dishonesty and incompetence of American foreign policy shows just how crooked our government itself is, and this is why the nation is on the verge of revolution. It’s why the Tea Party has taken hold, and why the Democrats were, in a landslide, recently removed from control of the House of Representatives. But the wrath of the nation is not limited to the Democrats. The document dump of WikiLeaks unmasks the dishonest, stupid, incompetent, and failed secret foreign policies of both parties.
By exposing this corruption, WikiLeaks’ document dump will hopefully have a positive effect on future American foreign policy.

Could Private First Class Bradley Manning be a Patsy for the WikiLeaks Leaks: Cyber Security Bill Likely Now
And we are supposed to believe that a buck private in the Army (E-3) easily removed these thousands of documents off the most secure computers in the world with nothing more than a Lady Gaga CD? Does the United States government really want us to buy this load of crap.
Could it be, that some of these documents were carefully selected without major intelligence being sacrificed to make the case to push these cyber security acts through Congress without any hesitation? After all, it wouldn't be the first time the United States government staged something to increase their power or move the country in a direction unpopular with the people of the United States. America's involvement in the war of Vietnam officially began in a false-flag terrorist event at the Gulf of Tonkin.
With the country already angry at the increase of federal powers, could you orchestrate a better plan--the compromise of thousands of documents essential for national security dumped on the Internet for our enemies and allies to see--to garner up support for the cyber security bill that is under debate in Congress?

Do you mean to tell me the United States government doesn't monitor the use of its national security secure network--like who is accessing the files, how many files the are accessing, how often they are accessing, and if any of these files are being transferred? And why is it an E-3 has so much trust and power for that matter to get this deep into the computers that house National Security secrets. I mean I guess it is possible, but why weren't there any safeguards in place. This really opens up a lot of questions, questions that even Sarah Palin is asking now as she scolds the Obama administration.
Palin asks, "How was it possible that a 22-year-old Private First Class could get unrestricted access to so much highly sensitive information? And how was it possible that he could copy and distribute these files without anyone noticing that security was compromised?"
I would like to know the same thing. You see, when you study American history at a very close level, you being to realize how situations in which the government hopes to acquire more power of the people are manipulated through manufactured conflict. This is how the Federal Reserve Act, income tax passed, and the 17th Amendment in 1913. They created a conflict to push the legislation through. Corruption was the plot in 1913.
So now we have this single buck private the center of the controversy at a time where it seems the Federal Government is stomping on every right. Let's not be quick to buy into this story that Manning acted alone. This required connections beyond what an average private in the Army has.
With the Manning story comes the familiar victimization card that often comes with these stories. Far too often, these stories read like they are straight out of a play book. Today we learn Manning was a "teased and harassed victim of the military, which is one of their story lines they hope we will buy into. It always seems like these stories follow.
Even as a kid, friends describe Bradley Manning as a computer geek who held strong opinions and wasn't afraid to express them. But at first glance, he appears the most unlikely suspect. With a youthful smile looking barely old enough to even be in the military, 23-year-old Army PFC Bradley Manning is at the center of the worldwide WikiLeaks storm. He's in military custody charged with providing WikiLeaks with this classified gun camera video - a U.S. helicopter gunship attack in Baghdad that killed a number of Iraqi civilians. But the more serious charges accuse Manning of leaking tens of thousands of State Department cables. But how is that possible?
Military officials tell NBC News that as an intelligence analyst in Baghdad, Manning had allegedly downloaded the files from classified computers onto CDs, while apparently pretending to be listening to Lady Gaga. The charges against Manning claim he then uploaded the material "onto his personal computer" then passed it "to a person not entitled to receive it." But why would he possibly do it? Ginger Thompson, of the New York Times, profiled Manning and found that as a young man he was an outcast who tried desperately to fit in.
So those working with Manning knew he was listening to Lady Gaga but they didn't know anything else about what the guy was doing at his computer workstation? Does this seem odd to anyone else, especially in a department that has access to this much national security?
I expect huge push and passage of the cyber security bill now. I think this is what is being set up here. I hope I am wrong, but I think Manning may be a patsy in order to give the federal government ultimate control the Internet. Remember what Glenn Beck has been warning of, we lose the Internet, we lose the information battle. We lose the information battle, we will lose our country. I am very worried there is something much larger in all of this, and that of course why many people are observing Obama's lackadaisical reaction that one Army general described as a gutless wonder and Palin goes on to write, "why did the White House not publish these orders after the first leak back in July? What explains this strange lack of urgency on their part?"
My guess, it all comes down to creating the perfect environment for the cyber security bill.
Patriotic 'Hacktivist' Claims Credit for Cyber Attack Against WikiLeaks
Let's hope for Patriotic Hacktivist's sake his efforts to launch a cyber attack against WikiLeaks didn't spoil a plan created by the Obama administration to further bring this country to it's knees. More on that in a bit.
A computer user identified as Patriotic Hacktivist has taken credit for the cyber attack against the WikiLeaks Web site. From ABC news:
The site was down temporarily on Sunday, the same time the hacker began tweeting he had begun attacking it.
"www.wikileaks.org - TANGO DOWN - for attempting to endanger the lives of our troops, 'other assets' & foreign relations," he tweeted late Sunday morning.
"Tango down" is a special forces military term for having eliminated a terrorist.
He goes by the Twitter handle "th3j35t3r", which is leetspeak for "The Jester."
On his website, th3j35t3r calls himself a "hacktivist for good." A "hacktivist" -- a hacker-activist, supposedly hacks for a good cause. His cause is preventing young people from being recruited online by jihadists. He does this by hacking jihadist websites, and temporarily disabling them.
OK, back to my other point. Does anyone find it ironic, while Congress is debating all these cyber security bills that will give the federal government more power over the Internet including giving the President power to shut down the Internet at moment's notice that we all of a sudden have this Internet site called WikiLeaks that is exposing hundreds of thousands of documents, classified in nature.

Ozark High School's International Baccalaureate Plan has Ties to Obama and Domestic Terrorist William Ayers
Ozark High School is now on the fast path to radicalize the education of Ozark students with Obama's left-wing agenda. The International Baccalaureate program has ties to some of the most radical left-wing activists in this country--educational radicals with deep connections to Barack Obama like America hating domestic terrorist William Ayers.
To give you some background about the radicals involved in this push for the International Baccalaureate in the United States, you have to look at Ayers (aka Bill Ayers), who was one of the masterminds behind the Weather Underground during the late 1960s and early 1970s. The Weather Underground was a group of radical domestic terrorists who bombed multiple targets in the United States. It is Ayers who came from this group who has become a powerful voice of left-wing education tactics in America through the Annenberg Project. Obama and Ayers served on the Annenberg Challenge board in Chicago. I remind you William Ayers is a radical left-wing, unrepentant domestic terrorist who is on record opposing what this country stands for.
The Annenberg project is an education think tank that worked to reform Chicago schools. The radicals that Obama met and worked with on this board including Ayers and Arnie Duncan, the current Department of Education Secretary is part of what is driving the International Baccalaureate movement in the nation's schools, which is now being pushed by administrators at Ozark High School as well. The spread of the International Baccalaureate in Chicago came directly as a result of partial funding from the Annenberg Challenge, the same board on which Obama Ayers both sat.
It is Obama's relationships in education with radicals like Ayers and Duncan (Duncan pushed for exclusively gay high schools at tax payers expense in Chicago) that is driving Obama's education direction which includes the International Baccalaureate.
A 2008 position paper from the Obama campaign notes Obama's support for the International Baccalaureate program.
"Barack Obama and Joe Biden will create a national 'Make College a Reality' initiative, based on the successful efforts underway in many states to increase the percentage of students taking rigorous courses and assessments, such as Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate courses."
As well, Obama's Education Secretary is also pushing this agenda, which Ozark School officials are pushing through without providing parents much insight into the IB's globalist agenda.
Support for the program also comes from U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan. In a May 2010 Council on Foreign Relations forum, Duncan advocated more international integration for U.S. schools.
"I really appreciate the chance to have this conversation. I want to begin by discussing two important trends that inform our drive to transform education here in America. The first is increased international competition and the second is increased international collaboration," Duncan stated.
The reference is to international collaboration, but while he was superintendent of the Chicago Public Schools, Duncan promoted the International Baccalaureate Curriculum.
The Chicago Public Schools website features two pages that discuss the implementation of the International Baccalaureate program in the Chicago schools.
Both pages say one of the goals of the International Baccalaureate Curriculum in Chicago is encouraging students to be globalists.
Remember I have documented in past articles concerning the actions of the Ozark School Board, these globalist values aren't in line with American values. In fact, there is an anti American sentiment that comes with the program that is consistent with the radicals Obama continues to place in his cabinet and give the unconstitutional position of Czar to. These values include the Communist belief of the redistribution of wealth, same sex marriages, abortion rights, and other left-wing agenda items.
Now consider what you know about Obama and Ayers. Their history clearly opposes the America our founding fathers created. Obama was a practicing communist in college and is currently pushing this country into something that resembles more of Karl Marx's writings than Thomas Jefferson as the power of the state increases over the power of the individual in the United States. Then look at Ayers, a co-founder of the communist promoting Weather Underground that attacked targets in the United States during their terrorists reign, and it should be no surprise they are pushing the International Baccalaureate.
It promotes ideas both Obama and Ayers embraced in their you and still embrace when you remove the curtain of Obama's rhetoric.
The International Baccalaureate is an education program approved by the United Nations with the goal of making your child a good global citizen. Remember, the word American isn't mentioned there. Chicago Public Schools, the same school system that Obama, Ayers, and Duncan pushed the globalist International Baccalaureate program through while they sat on the Annenberg Project doesn't even hide the globalist belief. Their site reads:
Enable students to become global citizens by encouraging their understanding of people from other countries and cultures.
So we get this devaluing of ones own culture for a multi-cultural environment. Multiculturalism has been described the new communism.

Also as noted before, the International Baccalaureate supports the Earth Charter, which further puts the whole intentions of the IB in question. IB issued the following words of support for the Earth Charter

We pledge to join the global partnership for a just, sustainable, and peaceful world and to work for the realization of the values and principles of the Earth Charter. The following is a few items of interest parents may want to know before Ozark High School continues spending your tax dollars to enter this Marxist education program:
The Earth Charter is housed in the Arc of Hope and is correctly identified by the World Pantheist Association as a Pantheistic document. Besides Pantheism, the Earth Charter advocates:
1. The redistribution of wealth between nations and within nations [Art. 10.a.]
2. Same-sex marriage [Art. 12.a.]
3. Spiritual education [Art 14.d.] which means education in Pantheism.
4. Military disarmament [Art. 16.d.&e.]
5. Creation of an international agency to make the Earth Charter binding on all nations [in The Way Forward action-plan.]
What perplexes me most about this is the IB obviously makes a statement against any kind of God. After all, Pantheism is the belief that the Universe (Nature) and God are identical.Pantheists thus do not believe in a personal, anthropomorphic or creator god. The perplexing part of this is Ozark Schools superintendent Dr. Gordon Pace is an Evangel College graduate. I wonder if his required courses on theology at the religious private college correspond with the IB push of Pantheism.
Surely the IB doesn't represent the values taught at Evangel Univeristy, private Christian university affiliated with the Assemblies of God, huh Dr. Pace?
The people of Ozark need to show Dr. Pace he is wrong for moving in this direction. The IB doesn't represent our American values, nor does it represent our Christian values. It has been pushed by the radicals associated with Obama like domestic terrorist William Ayers, who with Obama pushed for the spread of the IB in the Chicago Public Schools. In fact, if Dr. Pace continues to want to avoid these truth, along with Chuck Fugate the president of the school board, and Sam Taylor, the principle at Ozark High School. If these three people continue to misdirect the residents of Ozark about the truths of the IB, then it's up to the people of Ozark to send these men packing on to new jobs. They are supposed to offer education that reflects the values of the community, not education that indoctrinates them with Marxist and globalists philosophies--after all we are Americans first--not global citizens like the IB advocates.

As well, Obama's Education Secretary is also pushing this agenda, which Ozark School officials are pushing through without providing parents much insight into the IB's globalist agenda.
Support for the program also comes from U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan. In a May 2010 Council on Foreign Relations forum, Duncan advocated more international integration for U.S. schools.

The reference is to international collaboration, but while he was superintendent of the Chicago Public Schools, Duncan promoted the International Baccalaureate Curriculum.
The Chicago Public Schools website features two pages that discuss the implementation of the International Baccalaureate program in the Chicago schools.
Both pages say one of the goals of the International Baccalaureate Curriculum in Chicago is encouraging students to be globalists.
Remember I have documented in past articles concerning the actions of the Ozark School Board, these globalist values aren't in line with American values. In fact, there is an anti American sentiment that comes with the program that is consistent with the radicals Obama continues to place in his cabinet and give the unconstitutional position of Czar to. The International Baccalaureate is an education program approved by the United Nations with the goal of making your child a good global citizen. Remember, the word American isn't mentioned there. In the past, farmers used to collect seeds for the next years planting season during the harvest season. This isn't what I call the evil of the whole Monsanto GMO seed workflow; after all, it was the farmer who decided to go down this path and make the pact with Monsanto.

Big Agri Already Purchased Influence Over "Fed Up" Billy Long and New Freshmen: Food Safety Act Reality
Today's vote on SB 510 in the Senate and attacks on organic farm stores in California remind me how deep in the pockets companies like Monsanto are in the new Congressmen-elect. If you are expecting the Republicans to repeal the Food Safety Act, think again. Monsanto donated heavily to many of the new freshmen like Billy Long.
Billy Long claims he is 100% pro-life. I have yet to figure out why pro-life conservatives who oppose stem cell research, cloning, and other genetic mutations of the human body continue to allow it to happen in the agriculture business. Life is life, and whether it be a fetus, a human, or a stalk of corn, God has the overall plan and too many scientists in the interest of big profits are messing with the overall plan of life and making too many genetic changes throughout the world.
No corporation in the world represents this more than Monsanto when it comes to plant life. The controversial GMO seeds threaten traditional family farming in the United States using thug like tactics to prosecute farmers whose only crime is not building something to block the wind to prevent Monsanto genetically modified pollen from entering their fields. Billy Long promised voters he was fed up with Washington, fed up with special interests. His partner in crime against true conservatism Sarah Steelman told voters Billy wouldn't be influenced by special interest. Yet, Billy Long's 48 reports filed with the Federal Election Commission lists one special interest group after another donating to Billy Long's campaign knowing Long will soon "scratch their backs" to repay the favors. I will be going through the list in the coming days in hopes of telling Southwest Missouri voters what to expect when it comes to Long's votes in Congress. Looking at these, the most evil of corporations, Monsanto, no friend to the family farmer, donated to Long's campaign using the friendly patriotic sounding Monsanto Citizenship Fund, and as we know, Billy Long qualifies because he is the "citizen" that's going to Washington.

In a study released by the International Journal of Biological Sciences, analyzing the effects of genetically modified foods on mammalian health, researchers found that agricultural giant Monsanto's GM corn is linked to organ damage in rats.
According to the study, which was summarized by Rady Ananda at Food Freedom, "Three varieties of Monsanto's GM corn - Mon 863, insecticide-producing Mon 810, and Roundup® herbicide-absorbing NK 603 - were approved for consumption by US, European and several other national food safety authorities."
Monsanto gathered its own crude statistical data after conducting a 90-day study, even though chronic problems can rarely be found after 90 days, and concluded that the corn was safe for consumption. The stamp of approval may have been premature, however.
In the conclusion of the IJBS study, researchers wrote:
"Effects were mostly concentrated in kidney and liver function, the two major diet detoxification organs, but in detail differed with each GM type. In addition, some effects on heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells were also frequently noted. As there normally exists sex differences in liver and kidney metabolism, the highly statistically significant disturbances in the function of these organs, seen between male and female rats, cannot be dismissed as biologically insignificant as has been proposed by others. Where is "Healthy Food" Michelle Obama's Opposition to the Food Safety Act?
When you see a news story about Michelle Obama, she's usually pushing healthy foods upon our children and other Americans. For some strange reason, she is incredibly quiet over the Food Safety Act--a bill that will force Americans to eat frankenfoods while making organic foods harder to acquire for all Americans. Dr. Gordon Pace, Sam Taylor, Chuck Fugate, and the rest of the school board are pushing a hard sell to Ozark residents with the International Baccalaureate program. While I have looked at the globalist agenda which includes elements of Marxism (redistribution of wealth) and the push for global abortion rights in the past couple days, there is an eventual outcome that Christian County tax payers will soon endure if the school board is successful in implementing IB in the Ozark school systems.
Communities across the country that have bought into the carefully constructed selling plan given to school officials by the IB to push this program in hopes residents won't look into the truth of the IB have paid a price beyond just the liberal, anti American agenda of the IB. Ozark High School has spent nearly $10,000 just to apply to get into the program, and the annual costs to the program are guaranteed to take more from local tax payers to deliver to the IB's governing body in Switzerland.
Locust Valley is a similar community in size to Ozark, Missouri. Locust Valley was sold the same bill of goods Pace, Taylor, and Fugate are selling to the residents of Ozark while failing to state the ties to Marxism and values that don't necessarily represent the values of Ozark. The cost to residents to transform their traditional American values to introduce this globalist education plan endorsed by the United Nations should concern everybody living in Ozark and Christian County.

One resident writes, "Grand educational temples of learning with no students left to attend them because families can no longer afford to live in the district due to the exhorbitant taxes. These people are set to spend many millions of your taxdollars without any sort of community input, other than maybe a few PTA mommies."
When we look at the community of Ozark, we can see how always having to have the best whether it be a football field or community center is starting to add up. These things have and will continue to drive up property taxes for Christian County residents. To add the fees and the operational costs of the IB into the education system will continued to drive up property taxes, just like it did in Locust Valley. How many of you want to pay more taxes so your children can adopt the globalist agenda of the IB?

In the land of the free, we are looking at a Food Safety Act that will remove more rights of the American people to grow and eat health organic foods, while allowing federal laws to push more GMO products though large corporate agribusiness like Monsanto. Today, the Senate is scheduled to vote on SB 510, and you need to call your Senator and demand this stop this madness. I already expect one of my Senators, Claire McCaskill (D-MO), to vote for it since she voted to bring it to the floor for a vote. Call her anyway. All the Democrats in the Senate and 12 Republicans voted to bring this bill out of committee for a vote.

No court order will be needed, just a phone call to the appropriate state official and a public announcement will be sufficient.
They also claim that because of concerns over the production of raw milk products like soft cheese's, brie, feta, etc. This new law will be able to prevent the manufacture and distribution of such items within the US. If you don't believe that the FDA would over step their bounds look at what they did to Phusion Projects last week, with their ban on Caffeine in Alcohol they essentially crippled that company.
Under this new law, US food suppliers would need to meet other countries requirements and standards, also S.B. 510 will cost Americans $825 billion in 2010 alone.

Federal Funded Smithsonian Features Blasphemous Ant-Covered Jesus Exhibit
Federal tax dollars are being spent to show another blasphemous attack of Christianity. In the National Portrait Gallery for a Christmas-season exhibit, there is an image of an ant-covered Jesus. Other images included in this Christmas exhibit include male genitals, naked brothers kissing, men in chains, Ellen DeGeneres grabbing her breasts, and a painting the Smithsonian itself describes in the show's catalog as "homoerotic."

Hillary Clinton Asked US Embassy to Examine the Psyche of Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner
"How is Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner managing her nerves and anxiety?" asked a cable dated Dec. 31, 2009, and signed "CLINTON" in all capital letters.
The cable, sent at 2:55 p.m. on New Year's Eve, and originating in the department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research, asked a series of other probing questions as part of what it said was an attempt by her office to understand "leadership dynamics" between Kirchner and her husband, former President Nestor Kirchner.
"How does stress affect her behavior toward advisors and/or her decision making?" the cable continued. "What steps does Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner or her advisers/handlers, take in helping her deal with stress? Is she taking any medications?"
Delving into the personalities of foreign counterparts may be integral to modern diplomatic give-and-take. But the bluntly worded cable asking about the Argentine leader's "nerves" and "emotions" may further test up-and-down relations between Washington and Buenos Aires. The cable suggests that Washington saw Kirchner and her husband as perhaps prone to emotional instability.
Is this how the Obama administration improves diplomatic relations from around the world? By questioning drug use and emotions? This isn't the hope and change Obama promised in terms of diplomatic relations. Many Frequent Fliers are Cutting Out Flights Because of TSA Hassles
I was ahead of the curve. Between 2002 and 2004, I became so sick of going through TSA checkpoints, I decided to opt out of many business flights in exchange for some drive time. When I did fly, it was miserable. The first time I flew after 9/11 was to Washington, DC for business. On the way home to Chicago, I was slowed by a blizzard. The constant cancellation of flights and ticket reissues red flagged my tickets for extra security. I learned to travel in sandals and as few clothes as possible, even in 2002.
Apparently, frequent business travelers are getting fed up with the TSA, so much, they are reducing the amount of time they spend in the air. Claiming they oppose the new TSA screening standards, more and more frequent fliers are reducing their air travel. This isn't good news for airlines that are cash strapped.
“I am eliminating as many flights as I can,” says John Steinberg, a doctor and healthcare consultant who’s taken about 50 round-trip flights this year.
Steinberg of Randsallstown, Md., says that for 10 other trips, he purposely didn’t take commercial flights so he could avoid having to go through full-body scanning machines or more intrusive pat-downs of his body.
USA Today polled a group they called the Road Warriors who log millions of miles per year. Here's the results of their polls:
Fifty-eight percent of 181 Road Warriors who responded to a survey say they disapprove of the thorough pat-downs which often touch breast, buttocks and genital areas. About 40% disapprove of the full-body machines.
Their response is similar to the findings of a USA TODAY/Gallup poll released last week in which 57% of adults who flew two or more times in the past year were bothered or angry about the pat-downs. The same percentage said they weren't bothered by the machines, though 42% said they were bothered or angry about them.

The TSA has become a police state force that is giving the federal government more control of your movement in the United States. Ron Paul Issues Statement on the Debt Ceiling: Starve Leviathan and Vote Against It
Republicans will be quickly tested in January. We will see just how serious they are about cutting debt. From what I have seen, I am not holding my breath. Under John Boehner's Pledge to America, the Republicans are promising to roll spending back to 2008 levels, levels which a Democratic Congress created another $450 billion in federal debt.
Ron Paul is one of the few Republicans preparing and talking common sense when it comes to federal spending. He made the following statement with a two part plan that Republicans should consider--vote against raising the debt ceiling and then starve the monster. Here is his statement:
30, November, 2010 - As of November 7th, the total U.S. public debt outstanding reached an astonishing $13.7 trillion. This means that although Congress just raised the debt ceiling to $14.3 trillion back in February, the new Congress will face another debt ceiling vote almost immediately next year. Otherwise, the Treasury will not be able to continue issuing debt to fund government operations.
The upcoming vote will provide an interesting litmus test for the new Republican congressional majority, especially those new members closely identified with Tea Party voters. The debt ceiling law, passed in 1917, enables Congress to place a statutory cap on the total amount of government debt rather than having to approve each individual Treasury bond offering. It also, however, forces Congress into an open and presumably somewhat shameful vote to approve more borrowing.
If the new Congress gives in to establishment pressure and media alarmism about “shutting down the government” by voting to increase the debt ceiling once again, you will know that the status quo has prevailed. You will know that Congress, despite the rhetoric of the midterm elections, is doing business as usual. You will know that the simple notion of balancing the budget, by limiting federal spending to federal revenue, remains a shallow and laughable campaign platitude.
Of course congressional leaders – now Republicans – will tell America that they plan on balancing the budget soon, but they just need some time. After all, we have to keep the government open, right? We can’t have an “emergency” shutdown of vital government services. But somehow Congress always finds money for emergency spending, in the form of supplemental appropriations bills for TARP bailouts, troop surges, and the like. Why is there never an emergency that justifies less spending???
Surely we are facing an emergency debt spiral, as evidenced by the Federal Reserve’s recent commitment to buy another round of Treasury debt. It’s now quite obvious that the U.S. government plans to inflate its way out of debt, and the world is fleeing our dollar in response. Just 7 years ago Congress raised the debt ceiling to $6.4 trillion, which means the federal government had doubled its indebtedness in less than a decade. Annual deficits for 2011 and beyond are projected to be at least $1 trillion. By contrast, the entire federal debt amassed from the founding of our nation until President Reagan took office in 1981 – a period of roughly 200 years – was $1 trillion. So it’s no exaggeration to state that federal debt is growing exponentially.
I have two simple proposals when the new Congress convenes in January. First, refuse to raise the debt ceiling. Find a way, month by month, for Congress to spend only what the Treasury raises in revenue. Second, start over from scratch with the 13 appropriations bills that fund the federal government. Reject any talk of baseline budgets or discretionary spending. Ron Paul is one of the few Republicans preparing and talking common sense when it comes to federal spending. He made the following statement with a two part plan that Republicans should consider--vote against raising the debt ceiling and then starve the monster. Here is his statement:
30, November, 2010 - As of November 7th, the total U.S. public debt outstanding reached an astonishing $13.7 trillion. This means that although Congress just raised the debt ceiling to $14.3 trillion back in February, the new Congress will face another debt ceiling vote almost immediately next year. Otherwise, the Treasury will not be able to continue issuing debt to fund government operations.
The upcoming vote will provide an interesting litmus test for the new Republican congressional majority, especially those new members closely identified with Tea Party voters. The debt ceiling law, passed in 1917, enables Congress to place a statutory cap on the total amount of government debt rather than having to approve each individual Treasury bond offering. It also, however, forces Congress into an open and presumably somewhat shameful vote to approve more borrowing.
If the new Congress gives in to establishment pressure and media alarmism about “shutting down the government” by voting to increase the debt ceiling once again, you will know that the status quo has prevailed. You will know that Congress, despite the rhetoric of the midterm elections, is doing business as usual. You will know that the simple notion of balancing the budget, by limiting federal spending to federal revenue, remains a shallow and laughable campaign platitude.
Of course congressional leaders – now Republicans – will tell America that they plan on balancing the budget soon, but they just need some time. After all, we have to keep the government open, right? We can’t have an “emergency” shutdown of vital government services. But somehow Congress always finds money for emergency spending, in the form of supplemental appropriations bills for TARP bailouts, troop surges, and the like. Why is there never an emergency that justifies less spending???
Surely we are facing an emergency debt spiral, as evidenced by the Federal Reserve’s recent commitment to buy another round of Treasury debt. It’s now quite obvious that the U.S. government plans to inflate its way out of debt, and the world is fleeing our dollar in response. Just 7 years ago Congress raised the debt ceiling to $6.4 trillion, which means the federal government had doubled its indebtedness in less than a decade. Annual deficits for 2011 and beyond are projected to be at least $1 trillion. By contrast, the entire federal debt amassed from the founding of our nation until President Reagan took office in 1981 – a period of roughly 200 years – was $1 trillion. So it’s no exaggeration to state that federal debt is growing exponentially.
I have two simple proposals when the new Congress convenes in January. First, refuse to raise the debt ceiling. Find a way, month by month, for Congress to spend only what the Treasury raises in revenue. Second, start over from scratch with the 13 appropriations bills that fund the federal government. Reject any talk of baseline budgets or discretionary spending. The Feds Sends New Jersey a $271 Billion Invoice for Cancelling a Federal Rail Project
Republican Gov. Chris Christie return to common sense government in New Jersey has apparently angered the federal government. Christie quickly took his pen out upon becoming governor and began cancelling projects around the state with huge cost overruns and obvious wasteful government spending. One of those projects was a rail tunnel that connects Jersey with New York.
The tunnel was huge source of wasteful spending and cost overruns, and Christie killed the project.
The $8.7 billion project to construct a second rail tunnel between New Jersey and New York was 15 years in the making when Christie pulled the plug on Oct. 27, citing potential cost overruns. More than $600 million had been spent for engineering, construction and environmental studies.
Yesterday, the governor received a bill from the federal government for $271 million. They want it in 30 days.
So the feds decide they want a tunnel to connect Jersey to New York. It has been a project full of mismanagement that was costing taxpayers far more than projected. Governor Christie says enough and cancels the boondoggle, and now the federal government is going to push their weight around demanding compensation for their losses within 30 days.

Senate Fails to Repeal 1099 Provision of the Obamacare Law: Business Will be Required to 1099 Purchases of $600 Or More
There is a part of Obamacare that will give the IRS more eyes on how small businesses and corporations are run. It will also increase accounting costs for these businesses.
Yesterday the Senate moved forward to push the provision of Obamcare that requires businesses to 1099 any company from which they purchase $600 or more from. What this has to do with your healthcare is beyond me, but it definitely is more intrusive government.
Anytime a business purchases $600 or more from anyone company in a given year, they will be forced to issue a 1099 to that business and the IRS, and the Senate failed to repeal this provision yesterday.
Susan Eckerly, senior vice president of the National Federation of Independent Business, America’s leading small business association, issued the following statement on today’s Senate votes to fully repeal the 1099 provision in the healthcare law:
“Today’s votes are disappointing and, unfortunately, leave small business with continued uncertainty in an already challenging economic environment. We have bipartisan support for full repeal of the 1099 provision, it's time to put politics aside and get this done for small business.
“Small businesses don't operate in a world of 67 votes, they simply need certainty that new taxes and paperwork burdens will be eliminated. NASCAR Track in Branson, Missouri? Sprint Cup May be Coming to Branson
Hollister, Missouri businessman Russell Cook is working to gain NASCAR's attention. He wants to bring Sprint Cup racing to the Branson, Missouri. His plans are to build a NASCAR track near the new Branson Airport.
The slated track will be a 1.25 mile track and it has the interests of a few Atlanta businessmen. They have offered to help finance the $150 million track.
The proposed track, which Cook said would seat between 80,000 and 100,000 spectators, is about four miles south of the Branson Creek development, northeast of the junction of highways 65 and 86.
"We've got the airport on one side and four-lane (highway) 65 on the other," Cook said. "The property is big enough to put it on."
Cook said he hopes to have the track, which could also play host to some local races, completed by the fall of 2012.
Even if the track is built, getting a race from one of NASCAR's three touring series is not a guarantee. Competition for a top-level Sprint Cup Series race, especially, is particularly fierce.
The Kentucky Speedway recently was awarded a Sprint Cup race after a five-year wait. Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., will play host to two Sprint Cup races next year.

Obama is Going to Finish Killing the Fourth Amendment with Indefinite Detention
Through the Department of Homeland Security, we watch the Fourth Amendment under attack, barely breathing from the onslaught of federal abuse. NPR reports, believe it or not, that Obama by be getting ready to place the final dagger into the Fourth Amendment.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Sarah Palin Asks Valid Questions About WikiLeaks and US Security
I am glad I am not the only one questioning the United States claimed source of the leaks. How is it an E-3 Private First Class in the United States Army had so much clearance that he was allowed to steal hundreds of thousands of classified documents and hide them as Lady Gaga music? Why would the United States Army even allow any potential media into a highly classified area knowing that information could be easily smuggled from top secret computers to the outside world. I have my doubts about what we are being told in terms of how this information left secure federal computers and wound up in the hands of WikiLeaks. Apparently, Sarah Palin does too.
She issued the following statement asking the very same question. Now remember, this is a woman who many don't think is smart enough to be President, but she apparently is smart enough to know when she is being lied to. That's a good quality for any leader. Here's her statement:
First and foremost, what steps were taken to stop Wikileaks director Julian Assange from distributing this highly sensitive classified material especially after he had already published material not once but twice in the previous months? Assange is not a “journalist,” any more than the “editor” of al Qaeda’s new English-language magazine Inspire is a “journalist.” He is an anti-American operative with blood on his hands. His past posting of classified documents revealed the identity of more than 100 Afghan sources to the Taliban. Why was he not pursued with the same urgency we pursue al Qaeda and Taliban leaders?
What if any diplomatic pressure was brought to bear on NATO, EU, and other allies to disrupt Wikileaks’ technical infrastructure? Did we use all the cyber tools at our disposal to permanently dismantle Wikileaks? Were individuals working for Wikileaks on these document leaks investigated? Shouldn’t they at least have had their financial assets frozen just as we do to individuals who provide material support for terrorist organizations?
Most importantly, serious questions must also be asked of the U.S. intelligence system. How was it possible that a 22-year-old Private First Class could get unrestricted access to so much highly sensitive information? And how was it possible that he could copy and distribute these files without anyone noticing that security was compromised?
The White House has now issued orders to federal departments and agencies asking them to take immediate steps to ensure that no more leaks like this happen again. It’s of course important that we do all we can to prevent similar massive document leaks in the future. But why did the White House not publish these orders after the first leak back in July? What explains this strange lack of urgency on their part?
We are at war. American soldiers are in Afghanistan fighting to protect our freedoms. They are serious about keeping America safe. It would be great if they could count on their government being equally serious about that vital task.

VIPER: TSA Checkpoints Now Appearing at Bus Stations (Hey the Terrorists Used Airplanes)
The Transportation Security Administration has expanded in recent days. We knew this was coming as they warned commuter trains and cruise ships were on their list to expand their groping hands. Passengers at Tampa's Greyhound Bus station were being felt up, hands on the junk, before they were allowed to get on their bus.
So it's obvious the government by the people of the people for the people is no longer listening to the people. After nearly a month of American outrage, Janet Napolitano and John Pistole sticks their middle finger on the ground and takes up their next piece of real estate--the bus station. Commuter trains can't be much farther away.
Gary Milano of the Department of Security explained why the TSA was at the bus station. The program is called VIPER, Visible Intermobile Prevention and Response. Notice how the media finds the most ignorant person to interview over this like Chuck Lawrence who rides the bus. "I feel safe knowing I can get on the bus and I am not going to blow up." Excuse me Chuck you just gave up your Fourth Amendment Rights and I haven't seen to many buses blow up in recent years, have you Chuck. Although, it wouldn't surprise me at this point if suddenly a Christmas Tree Bomber puts a dummy bomb on a Greyhound Bus in order to justify Homeland Security's presence at the bus station.

Stacey Armato is the mother of a 7-month-old infant. She breast feeds the infant and uses a breast pump. The breast milk she pumped for her young infant would soon lead to an intrusive and oppressive inspection by the TSA. The mother was not flying with the child, but had pumped the milk to have it ready when she arrived at LAX.
Armato asked the TSA if she could avoid sending the milk through the x-ray machine to avoid irradiating the pure milk. She came prepared at the airport going as far as printing off the official rules that That set off red flags leading to Armato becoming the next victim of the TSA.
The rules of carrying infant milk on a plane are as follows:
Mothers flying with, and now without, their child will be permitted to bring breast milk in quantities greater than three ounces as long as it is declared for inspection at the security checkpoint.
Breast milk is in the same category as liquid medications. Now, a mother flying without her child will be able to bring breast milk through the checkpoint, provided it is declared prior to screening.

Frederica Wilson has more important things on her priority whip she's still trying to get presumptive Speaker of the House John Boehner to let her wear her trademark hats while the House is in session. Well, she's found an unlikely alley in a conservative Republican freshman congressman from Missouri named Billy Long. The two have deemed themselves "The Cowboy Hat Caucus."

Long told Wilson about PFI in Springfield, and said she could order some nice hats from the store over the Internet.
A look at Wilson's campaign website suggests she and Long may not have many political views in common. She is a Florida state senator endorsed by Planned Parenthood, and displayed pictures of herself with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Long was proud of not having been a career politician, and was endorsed by Missouri Right To Life. He campaigned against what he called the Obama-Pelosi agenda.
Both Long and Wilson told the News-Leader that no, they didn't talk politics. Wilson said she was just struck by Long's friendliness.
"I told him he sounds like an auctioneer," said Wilson. "It was fun. I'm looking forward to working with him. He was so funny, quite delightful."
Both wore their hats in the freshman class group picture.
This sounds like the making of a really, really great sitcom or romantic comedy doesn't it?
There is good news for Congressman-elect Wilson, Long openly talks about all the things he likes about Obamacare. Something tells me you will enjoy working with him as he supports a lot of Obama's healthcare mandate including forcing insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions and calling 26 year adults children so they can stay on their parent's plan. Just be careful, Ms. Wilson, your new buddy has had multiple allegations made against him of a racial nature. You best stay away when the auctioneer begins telling his jokes.

I am pro-life all across the board. I don't believe in abortion. I don't believe in using aborted stem cells to produce cures. I don't believe in genetic altering of life of any form, including plants and animals. While many in the pro-life movement fight the cloning of humans and stem cell research, the don't think much about how similar techniques are being used to alter our food supply.
It's hard to go to a grocery store and purchase vegetables, fruits, and grains that haven't been genetically modified by companies like Monsanto without purchasing organics. As well, the nation's beef, chicken, and pork industry has long used chemicals to shorten the production time of its livestock. Many people believe we are starting to see the results of all this cornucopia of science in our foods in such things like little girls developing into women much sooner and getting their first period much sooner than averages decades ago.
Now there may soon be another frankenfood on your dinner table that you may soon be unaware of, especially considering Democrats and a few Republicans are pushing through the food safety act in Congress, which will give corporate agriculture an advantage over the small family farmer whose ethos is to grow safe, natural foods.
Scientists at The Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes claim cloned meat is “unlikely to present any risk.” Don't you like that term, unlikely? Science is funny that way. The leave so much wiggle room in order to attain grants and push through their agenda.
It it may even be likely that cloned meat may already be hitting the supermarket without your knowledge.
The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture on Tuesday said he doesn’t know whether cloned cows or their offspring have made it into the North American food supply.
But Tom Vilsack, in Ottawa to talk trade with food exporters and Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz, emphasized that if they have, the animals are safe to eat.
“I can’t say today that I can answer your question in an affirmative or negative way. I don’t know. What I do know is that we know all the research, all of the review of this is suggested that this is safe,” Vilsack told reporters, pointing to an assessment of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
What does he mean he doesn't know? Apparently he thinks he knows its safe.
I question that. If you remember Dolly the sheep, the first cloned animal, it died prematurely. While scientists wouldn't blame cloning as the reason, the animal died many years before its life expectancy with a number of health complications. An average sheep can live 11 to 12 years, but by age six Dolly suffered from cancer and from arthritis.
Like most science, isn't it possible the scientist driven by their research grants are overlooking the possibility that cloning produced a sick animal, which now appears likely to be heading towards our food supply. I don't like the arrogance of this science that believes it can take what God made and make it better for human consumption.

Federal Pension Bubble is About to Pop: Remember the Government Has a Plan for Your 401K
A few weeks ago, as Congress adjourned for the mid-term elections Senator Harkin and Senator Sanders met in committee to discuss how they will handle the coming federal employee pension crisis in America. If you remember, days before Rush Limbaugh was talking about this, I warned my readers about their plans. 401K confiscation is on the the table.
Yesterday, the Las Vegas Review-Journal the bubble is getting ready to pop on these federal pensions. My guess is the lame duck congress is getting ready to push through whatever it is Harkin and Sanders decided on while most of the Congress went home.
While the editorial recommends pushing federal employees towards a 401K system, there is still nearly $600 billion in unfunded federal pensions that are about to cause Washington a huge headache. Remember, our founding fathers didn't give the federal government any kind of authority to assist in retirement, and we are seeing why now.
Defined-benefit plans stem from a bad moment in time in which employers -- and now unions -- cared for employees like children incapable of planning for their own retirements. Over time, these plans metastasized into grotesque shadows of their initial good intention.
In a perfect world, defined-benefit plans get the math right in terms of how much a government employee must put in and how much the taxpayer must put in. The rules for retirement are reasonably set and never abused; costs for health care remain predictable; and defined-benefit plan funds are wisely and conservatively invested to keep the plan solvent regardless of the number of employees in the plan.
Virtually every state in the nation has broken those fundamentals, producing what is called an "unfunded liability." Whatever the shortfall in a state's defined-benefit plan for the retirement and health care of public workers, the taxpayer -- both present and future -- must pay.
The question is just how exactly will they be forced to pay. It may all come down to robbing Peter to pay Paul, which is exactly what Harkin and Sanders discussed in their meeting earlier this fall.
