Supreme Court Forces Federal Reserve to Hand Over TARP Recipient List

The Federal Reserve operates in secrecy most of the time. They have fought to keep their buddies who received TARP money from public knowledge. The Supreme Court eventually ruled and the Federal Reserve lost their appeal. They have five days to release the names of the banks and bankers who received funds through TARP.

"The Board will fully comply with the courts' decisions and is preparing to make the information available," a Fed spokesman said.
