Don't You Love How the Republicans Took the Week Off With the Debt Ceiling Nearing

Have you noticed you member of Congress yukking it up this week in your home district? Congress worked a hard eight or nine weeks, and they needed a break/vacation because pushing buttons that say yea or nay is such an exhausting job--because we know most of these schmucks aren't reading the legislation.

Last I looked, we were closing in on the debt ceiling very quickly--I believe we are well within a $100 billion or so before reaching the limits on the amount of debt the United States can legally acquire. Where is you elected member of Congress? Taking it easy, not too worried about the coming day where they are going to have to decide whether or not to raise the debt ceiling once again and pave the way for more government by expanding it.

I have just one question here. Perhaps, my elected Rep, Billy Long, can answer this? Why are they not in session working on making significant cuts to the budget that might actually slow down or prevent the train wreck? I'll tell you why, because it's already a done deal. Republicans are going to vote to expand the debt ceiling, and that's why they can have their week off without worrying about the day that is soon approaching--and probably approaching must faster with Obama's illegal war in Libya.

By the way, why wasn't it important to stay in session for that reason along--you know so Republicans can keep an eye on Obama's illegal war. The timing of Obama's start of his war in Libya obviously was set to Congress being on recess.
