Liberals Mad at Obama for Starting Libyan War Against Qaddafi

Obama just alienated his base. One of the issues Obama ran against in 2008 were the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama promised to end these wars in October 2007 as the first thing he was to do in office. He didn't, and now, even with less justification that George W. Bush had to attack Iraq, Obama starts a war with Libya. His base has got to be upset as is evident with this rant from Congressman Dennis Kucinich.

“I’m gonna read this and then tell you who said it. ‘The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.’ Now that was Barack Obama who said that on December the 20, 2007. We’ve got to be very sure here that we follow the Constitution, and president Obama didn’t do that.”

It's not often a liberal is right about the Constitution these days, but Congressman Kucinich is spot on regarding Obama's illegal use of our military.
