Free Speech Isn't So Free on Top of Clingmans Dome, Great Smoky Mountains

I was surprised after an eight plus mile hike to the summit of Clingmans Dome, the highest point on the Appalachian Trail (6,643 feet) that free speech is regulated. Yes, Clingmans Dome has a free speech zone. Good grief! I don't think this is what the founding fathers had in mind when they drafted the First Amendment.
