My prediction, based on what I am going to tell you, is when this Congresswoman is completely healed and back in Congress, will be the Jim Brady of the new generation. Remember, Brady was Ronald Reagan's press secretary who was severely wounded during the attack on Ronald Reagan's life. After the shooting, Brady became a strong fighter against the Second Amendment. I predict Giffords will follow the same path.
You see, what we didn't hear about Giffords in all those beautiful stories that were told in the days and weeks following the tragedy was all the wacky examples of liberalism she exhibited. The person painted on the nightly news is not the person in real life.
In a House committee meeting on the armed services with General David Patraeus present and answering questions of dolts like Giffords, Giffords had the nerve enough to put the environment before the mission of the military and the safety of our troops. Consider what she asked General Patraeus.
"General Petraeus, what are you doing to reduce carbon emissions in the war on terror?"
Good grief! As someone who served in the military, carbon emissions is the last thing on my mind. However, the safety of the men and women serving is the first thing. You have to remember, this is a warped liberal's world, and that's why we need to fear this woman once she comes to Congress. They pulled her to the center after the shooting, but evidence of this woman's activities prior to the shooting shows she's another left-wing nut without any common sense.
